Language Files: Materials for an Introduction to Language and Linguistics, 13th Edition

The book arrived undamaged and in perfect condition. I have previously bought language files 12, and I had to buy this (the most up to date version of language files) for a college course I'm taking. I love this book, it's amazing. It explains linguistic topics in a way that's easy for everyone to understand. It truly is the perfect introductory textbook. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn about linguistics. It was everything you need! Before I started studying in college, I asked my parent to buy me language files 12, and I would read a little bit almost every night. This book made me realize I want to become a linguist. And now I've bought this version for my intro to linguistics course. I've already begun reading it and highlighting what I need to know for my class. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
