This deadbolt was easy to install and simple to setup. The instructions in the booklet provided are step by step and easy to follow. There is a QR code for setup as well which I did not look at nor can I comment on the video instructions.The deadbolts operation is smooth and unlocks quick. The auto-lock function is a total game changer and works awesome! You can adjust the seconds of the auto-lock from 0-99. The biometric setup was quick and easy, there hasn’t been an error of reading yet! Just getting into fall/winter so we will see how it runs throughout those colder months.This was just installed, if anything changes in a few months, I will update my review.

"Packaging was excellent with everything inside the box packed with every smaller internal box listing which step in the directions it went with. You just need to prepare a screwdriver and 4 AA batteries.Following the installation instructions or the video by scaning the QR after the battery cover step by steps. Makes things MUCH easier to handle during install. Installation took me less than 10 minutes. Assuming your door isn't some wacky custom build, this should be a breeze.Once installed, i was so impresed that the unit is easy to program and quickly learn both my and my wife's codes and fingerprints. I really recommend this product!The functions of the lock are great. Programming it was really simple through the programing video guide. you can set the door to auto-lock from 10-99s, but I prefer the other funtion, long press any keys to lock.What's more? Fingerprint reader that works VERY fast, a number pad to make a PIN, and it also comes with 2 keys in case of dead batteries or malfunction.Appearance: Yep, it looks really great on the door. Waterproof: Yep, I did a simple waterproof test. It worked well. Overall we are very happy with this smart deadbolt:Pros:-Super easy to install.-Battery life is long.-Fingerprint sensor works fairly well-Build quality is great-The thing looks great-Love the many different ways to access-Auto-lock and one press to lock-Waterproof (IP54)Cons:-Non rechargeable battery-No WiFi or App version(NOTE) The smart door lock will automatically fit left or right door after you install batteries. I do meet this problem, I tested for the smart lock before I install, and then i need to reset the lock as the guide said when I install the lock on my door."

The deadbolt has a nice look and feel to it, matching of my door handle and lock.The keypad is well defined and buttons are solid. It’s cool looking the numbers light up at night and it works flawlessly.Setting up the door lock was easy and straight forward. I setup fingerprints for everyone in the family by simply recognizing 8 times of each fingerprints.The battery replacement is simple and much better than the door lock I replaced. The one I replaced you had to take apart the door lock. This one has an easy to remove battery cover.NOTE: this door lock does not come with door handle. But I notice that the brand has a updated front door lock set that with a handle. I already have door handle so I choose this one.

Sometimes I find the finger scanner is a little tricky to manoeuvre, but for the cost point, with a busy household, keypad lock is the way to go. Love not worrying about keys
