Vitapointe Leave in Conditioner 50 ml

I'm so glad to have found this again. I started using it 40 years ago and liked it then. Recently I was desperate to find a conditioner for my hair . There's a lot of gray now at the front and it looks like a hay stack even with the best leave in conditioners. Now with Vitapointe again I can tame it . I don't think the formula has changed thankfully and it tames my hair again, just as it used to .

My elderly mother was bemoaning that they don't make products like they used to. I bought her every type of leave-in conditioner I could find in the usual supermarkets etc. She couldn't remember the name of the product she used to use years ago when her hair was dry. Searching the internet I found the product and read that it is discontinued and very hard to find in the high street. I was delighted to find the product on Amazon and bought 3 tubes in the hope this will last mum if I can't find it in the future. She is delighted - so am I!!! Most strange that I now have this compulsion to look in every chemists I pass to see if they have Vitapointe and I have found it in one not too far from home. Mum said this is the best product available and, when Dad was alive, if she ran out she would use a bit of his Vaseline hair tonic. It's a shame that the old products are not readily-available. I know its supply and demand and the younger generation spend more on hair, hence the vast number of different products on the shelves. But people are living longer. The older generation remember their old products fondly. Whether they really are better is another matter. Perhaps there is an opening for a store selling 40s/50s/60s products?

I have soft curly hair and I am nearly 70. My mum used this on my curls as a child and over the years I have used this when I could get it as most shops stopped seeing it. I have tried other, including very expensive conditioners and have never really been impressed. Having been ill recently my hair was in poor condition. To my relief when I looked on amazon I could still get vitapoint. It has gone up in price but you need such a small amount it lasts for a long time.it is by far the best leave in as it is not sticky or heavy and leaves my hair feeling nourished, shiny and healthy. Great reliable, tried and tested over many years product.

I would give five stars but the smell isn’t pleasant. I was so pleased to find this product available again but not sure I will reorder.

I am so so grateful to find this on Amazon (at not a silly price, as it used to cost under £3). This is the best ever finishing cream for my hair ~ I’ve used it since the 1950’s (it’s not the same now, as it was made by a different company at one point) and can’t live without it. It’s my ‘go to’ product once I have blow dried my hair, and my hair is still amazing at almost 80 years of age. My family laugh at me but I have spent a lot of money trying to find a replacement for this now discontinued product …… to no avail. But this!!! It’s my saviour, thank you

I have been using this product for seventy years! I was a redhead and my hair was always on the dry side and it still is. Vitapointe has always made my hair more relaxed. The main thing is not to use too much at a time.

I have used this product before and it had a nice floral fragrance. This tube did not have have the same fragrance so was a little disappointed with it. It also felt a bit greasy on my hair. I thought it was a bit expensive for the amount. I will be looking for a different product I think.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Used this product for years ! Keeps my hair in good condition, hair has a healthy shine & feels good.

Ich liebe dieses Produkt!!! Hab es damals in England gekauft und war begeistert. (Ich benutze nur Produkte ohne Silikon) Dieser Conditioner ist ein Wundermittel! Es macht die Haare super weich, glänzend und die Spitzen sehen gesund aus ohne die Haare zu beschweren.

This is a great product for men. My husband has been using this for the past 25 years. I was always able to purchase locally but it is no longer available. The good thing about this product, it’s not greasy but also conditions the hair.
