Great size. Provides lots of different types. Great for a new collector. My daughter absolutely loves it! Has a little book explaining the different types too. Couldn’t recommend enough for someone who is getting into rocks, gems and fossils.

It is not cheap - but worth every penny. If you compare what you get to all other packages this offers simply bigger stones, way more stones, and incredible variety, the customer service is just absolutely brilliant, it is the hightest quality product you could expect - and it's entertaining and has a huge educational value. I'll buy it again and again as a gift and for my other kids

Purchased this for my 7 year olds birthday.Really impressed with the contents, there are so many different samples.Definitely most enjoyed present on the day.Albeit the box is small, the content makes up for it (especially the sharks teeth).

Gotta admit, i bought this purely on a whim and out of curiosity.200+ samples of teeny fingernail sized gems, with a about 10 slightly larger and more interesting crystal and rock formations, as well as 2 shark teeth, a slither of an 20mm-wide Ammonite, and a couple of full, but tiny fossilized shells.Everything inside is interesting, but small.Honestly, for a child who has just started to take an interest in rocks and minerals, it's a brilliant little gift and a good start to any collection. Although it's kind of a small box, it is definitely worth the money given the selection and variety. You'd struggle to get such a multitude of different types of rock sample for such a low price.I'd highly recommend it to any junior rock-hound... and the big-kid hounds too!

Product is high quality in its price range. Box contains good detailed book, quality stones and fossils.

This was an item I had had on my wish list for about half a year. The price had always hovered around the £35 - 40 mark. I refused to pay this price because it sells much cheaper in the US. And I'm tired of always overpaying for things in the UK. Took a sudden dive to £25. So snapped it up.I liked the concept and still do. I purchased it for my four year old niece. Young kids are always picking things up that look colourful or unusual. And this is an opportunity to teach them more about the outside physical world. Especially on a nature trail or stony beach.The criticism I have really is the limited size of the kit. It seems smaller in scale than in the pictures. Which is my fault. I should have checked out an unboxing on You Tube. It's meant for kids and is certainly kid sized. The presentation plastic cube kind of dwarfed the small fossil and sharks tooth inside. And the magnifying glass was small and also cheap looking. Although not an issue as I picked up a large durable one for my niece a year or so ago.On the plus side the chart and slender booklet inside were useful. And the rocks, which are more like polished pebbles, are interesting even for adults. A four year old just fits the minimum age reccommendation. And I wouldn't go younger as the pieces are small and would certainly be hazardous if ingested.Overall, I would recommend at £25, no more. Had it had a better magnifying glass I would probably have bumped it up to four stars.

I bought it for me, not for a kid and its very worth it. Very good quality, great packaging to make sure nothing gets damaged, very good variety! If you don’t like very small pieces, I suggest you don’t buy since there is about 200 mini rocks. I find the texture very fun! Its also a very good price considering the big crystal rocks at a store could be 5$ each but for 35$ you get a bunch! I love it (I will probably get it again for different pieces):)

Große Verpackung, kleiner Inhalt...Ich habe selber noch viel gewaschen und geschliffen um zu erkennen was es sein soll.Teilweise war wirklich sehr viel härtere Sand dran, so das meine Kinder das nicht zuordnen konnten.
