These days we're used to seeing the same mass-produced item from dozens of different suppliers, most of whom won't exist in a few weeks, and it'll come in a plain brown carton, it was pleasant to note that this is from a "real" company, a posh well made outer box, all very smart.The lamp is very well made, sits nicely on the desk, base is big enough to support it properly.Touch-controls are nice. In particular I like that the on/off control is separate from the brightness control. I hate the lamps where you can turn them on dim, but you have to cycle the control through Medium and Dazzling before you can get back to off - not what you want in a bedside light! You can also choose bright white (in five different brightness) or a cooler orange tinted glow (again in five brightnesses) again, a good idea for a bedside lamp.Actually, the only factor I don't like about this for bedside use (and this would not affect regular "desk" lamp use) is it can be hard to find the on/off tab in the dark.All in all very nice unit - won't disappoint.

This lamp looks elegant and feels just substantial enough without being heavy. It's a good size, not too small. The controls are intuitive and simple to use - the intensity of light can be varied to 6 different levels, and at each level you can have white light, warm white light or both together. I can't imagine what more you might want in terms of functionality and appearance from a desk lamp. The only possible thing missing is that all the controls are on a flat and smooth touch-sensitive glass plate so there would be no easy way of putting your finger on the "on" control in the dark. However, I use it as a desk lamp not a bedside lamp, so I'm 100% delighted with it.

This table lamp is amazing. Very professional and polished finish with a good price. I've not found any table lamp with this quality at this price range yet.The 3 modes for the lighting is able to suuit different weathers. I normally go for the warmer colours in the cold winter months. The deep yellow mode is so good as a late night table lamp and just looks soooooo warm. The touch bars are responsive and accurate. I also appreciate the extra usb port to charge my bluetooth devices. Normally use it to charge my wireless headphones or speakers. Charges smartphones well too.

Nice bit of kit. Brushed metal, decent weight to it. Looks good.The 'buttons' are touch sensitive, which is neat. You can set three different colour temperatures from bright (blueish) white, warm white and a soft yellow reading light. There's also adjustment on brightness.The stand has a couple of hinges you can use to adjust the light's angle/height.It's a quality piece of kit and can sometimes be nabbed on special Lightning Deals for a good discount.

This lamp is a nice piece of kit and easy to use.The design is very nice, this sits well as a bedside reading lamp and can be tucked away into a closed position.I am so impressed with this lamp I am buying a second so we have one at each side of the bed.The lights settings can be toggled from soft light to white light with different intensity from low to high - individual preference is easily found.*A BIG THUMBS UP !

Excellent product. Looks and feels well made. Works great as a bedside lamp, offers choice and flexibility in use. As a couple we keep different hours she works I'm retired, one of you can turn their lamp without was king the other.Very good on full bore !!Also good positioning options AND you can plug your Kindle in to charge !!

This Tao lamp arrived promptly ,well packaged ,once unpacked and set up on my pc desk I was very impressed.The brushed aluminium finish is very impressive ,the light articulates smoothly and stays put once adjusted .The 6 brightness settings are a perfect way to get the correct amount of light output needed and to be able to adjust the colour temp of the light source from white to warm tungsten effect is the icing on the cake.It has a usb connection on the rear of the base too.This Tao lamp is in my opinion outstanding value,and I mean outstanding ,the quality of finish and very modern smart design along with an 18 month guarantee makes this lamp in a class of its own for the price.Simply get one .

I purchased this lamp at the beginning of the year and have been extremely happy with it. The different tones available are really useful depending on the time of day or how tired my eyes may be. What is just as impressive though is the customer service received. My lamp stopped functioning correctly recently. Although still operating only one of the three tones was available. I sent an email to the company to notify them and within no time at all they arranged for a replacement lamp to be sent which I have just received. Superb customer service which will not only ensure that I purchase more of their products, but I will be recommending to others as well.
