The Deep watering probe was exactly what is needed to water trees during drought conditions. Get water to roots without waste. Sturdy stainless steel is easy to push deep into the ground.

Order arrived in timely fashion with good packaging. Simple and easy to follow instructions and I filled the supplied cartridge with fertilizer hooking the unit to a hose. I easily pushed the watering spike into the ground and mission accomplished. Good price, good product.

This product is basically unusable when assembled in the way shown in the pictures. The hose will cause the feeder to rotate and loosen all the fittings. I believe the correct way to assemble it is to attach the feeder directly to the spike, then attach the brass fitting to the feeder and then the hose to the brass fitting. Be careful not to strip the threads when attaching the feeder to the spike.The feeder has a dial, but its very difficult to tell when it is feeding and when it is turned off. I suggest adjusting the dial before adding fertilizer so you can see when water is being added to the feeder jar.There is zero indication about the dilution rate that the feeder is using, but it appears pretty slow. It needs a highly soluble, concentrated fertilizer eg Miracle Gro. It doesn't work well with organic fertilizers that are thicker/less concentrated.

Excellent way to deep water and fertilize your trees and bushes. You can Easily push the probe into the soil because of the 360 degree watering jets if you hit hard soil just let the probe fill the hole with water and come back later and try again.

Sloppy welding or soldering where the dispenser joins the vertical tube. Leaks like crazy. Quality control an issue with this supplier.UPDATE.The supplier promptly contacted me, seeking to immediately resolve the problem. Very impressed with the speed and attention to customer service. I opted for a refund rather than a replacement, but wouldn’t hesitate to consider this supplier again. Nicely done!

I used the product for the first time today. The first time I turned the valve it broke. Using plyers I was able to open the valve. My hose has a valve so I was able to use the tool today. It appears to work well. It is a little tricky to get the bottle of fertilizer attached correctly. But with some experience I was able to get it to fit snuggly in place.Update: After reaching out to the manufacturer, they immediately offered to replace the product
