I am used to buying torches from the poundshop, and you can get some decent illumination from these things, but I understand now that these were in these particular outlets for a reason. I bought this as a "Deal of the Day" on Amazon and I have been impressed by this item. It is extremely bright for the price and it also does the zoom very well. You don't get that with poundshop torches, and you don't also get it at "deal of the day" prices...apart from the fact that a few weeks after ordering, it is still around that price. There are better technical reviews for this torch which I have found useful, and you should read them before purchasing on my recommendation. I would go into more detail on the specifications and practicalities of this torch, but it has been done in better reviews which led me to this purchase. I'm going to give these a "helpful" vote now that I am happy with my new torch.*Edit*Now that I have bought this torch, I have been getting recommendations for pricier offerings, and I have also been looking into the specifications of pricier torch options. The pound shop offerings I have been buying have varied in quality from the "I can't believe I wasted a pound for that" or, more commonly, "I'd have paid a fiver for that".With this torch you get a really good quality feel, and the bulbous and rather satisfying optics of the lens at the business end really makes this product what it is. I got this at an absolute bargain, but it is now back to the regular price, I would still be happy with the product at that price.If I need a new torch again, I'll be buying something like this and staying away from the cheap stuff. It is so much brighter and much more adjustable.I hope you can benefit from my experience and my research, but I will still leave the more technical aspects of this to those who do it better.

Absolutely excellent torch, easily the best that we have ever owned, by far. It produces lots of light, very bright, and has different brightness settings and light modes as well as an SOS feature and a strobe feature (We actually had a tent disco with the strobe setting). The zoom adjustable feature is great, allowing to choose a focused beam, a spotlight or floodlight. Also the torch can extend in length and is a portable size, so fits in a pocket which is very handy. It feels very durable and the water resistant feature is useful, especially when camping in the wet. If you are thinking of buying a torch, definitely buy this one, it is so so much better than a Maglite, if you are thinking of buying a Maglite, seriously don't do it, we had a Maglite and it stopped working on day one and had all sorts of problems. This torch over a Maglite any day, Vansky has better light output, more settings and features, is portable and is actually a lot more durable. Additionally, it is excellent value and arrives incredibly quickly. We love it, thank you Vansky.

Wanted a new torch for my tool bag. Very happy with purchase although the material feels a bit like plastic and metal it feels strong, solid and comfortable to hold. Not to big but very bright for it's size but it does use a LED light not the old type bulbs. I like the zoom feature as it means you can zoom in or out to focus the light more prominent in a particular area rather than have it flood a wide area, nice feature to have in my opinion and has come in handy on more than a few occasions. The 5 modes are more of a gimmick for me but for someone using this when out the strobe and sos could come in handy when trying to alert someone or something like that. My only gripe is i wish they charged a little more and included a pouch but not big issue. Overall very happy with this torch for the price, the quality feels great and very bright. Can't ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Let me first start off by saying this is a wonderful torch and a real bang for the buck however it has a few minor issues that could be easily be avoided/fixed. Most importantly the torch shines bright and powerful however at 100 meters you won't see much, however it works best for in pitch black situations e.g Country side, Desert. The handle feels alright but a bit plain, it doesn't feel like metal, more like a mix of plastic and metal but it is still comfortable. I also had no problems what so ever with the delivery.The reasons why I gave this torch a 4 star are:1. It is very fiddly to get back to a certain mode as you have to go through 4 different modes (9-10 clicks) before you can get back to the same mode e.g Strobe (I show this in the video)2. The hand strap feels very cheap and has already started to rip after 1 day of use but it can easily be replaced or removed all together3. When in full focus mode the shape of the light is like a squares with two missing corner (I have uploaded a photo for you to see) and also when in focus mode you can see 3 rectangles in the middle of the squares, they are thin and small but still noticeable. Also all around the edges is a rainbow, it is not really bright or annoying but you can easily see it's thereConclusion? It's the best torch out there you can get for this price and I'm definitely going to use it this summer .(I don't recommend it but you can spend about £20-25 more to get a better torch.)Like if this helped you out :)

This is a great little led torch that is super bright. In the box you get the torch, batteries, wrist strap and instruction manual. The build quality is very good and the brightness is excellent. The torch is lightweight but robust. The torch has three modes which are constantly on, flashing quickly and flashing slowly. You can also change the beam from concentrated on a spot to a wider beam. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it. Buy with confidence.
