Q: Hi,can I use it with a different branded foot switch?Or I have to get a Boss one?[To be more specific;I have a Digitech FS3X:Three button switch]

Hi,The RC-1 is designed to work with the Boss FS-7, it may be compatable with other footswitches but Boss do not specify which alternatives may work. It would just be a matter of giving it a try.Reidy's Customer Support Team

Q: never bought a looper before but could i lay a few chords down on my acoustic then let this record them keep repeating them whilst i sing?

As long as your acoustic has a pickup and can be plugged into the looper you will be good to go. You can also layer the vocal with a mic if you put it through an amp as well. General view: the looper is very easy to use, sturdy and is great fun.

Q: I can't pause or stop a loop anymore. if i double tap it finishes playing the loop with green leds flashing then deletes it? how do i change it back?
