I had to do a lot of research and trial and error. These 10"x10" plates are the same square size as the name brand BASEPLATE, but they are thicker. The exact thickness of the name brand PLATES. That's important if you're using these for MILS like I am. I compared the Strictly Brik (blue) with the name brand (grey) to give you an idea of the dimensions. The dots line up perfectly. It's the thickness that differs.Also, see the Strictly Brik (blue) next to the name brand plate (green). Same dots, same thickness.So, if you're building a lot of MILS for your city, these are an economical, and super sturdy alternative to using a ton of 4x4 or 16x16 name brand plates. They are study, well made, smooth, and work nicely with the name brand. 10/10.

Why get 1 Lego brand when you could get 4 for the same price? These base boards are much more sturdy than the Lego brand ones. We've had some of these for over a year and they get played with at least five or six times a week. They work perfectly with our Legos. The kids love all the different colors and choose these over our Lego brand ones. If you have Lego lovers in your home order these base plates, you won't regret it.

Needed cheap plates for my kids, they work and are much cheaper then the official alternative

My brother's kids have thousands and thousands of Legos, and he recommended these because they're every bit as good as Lego baseplates, with the added feature that you can stack them (that is, they're not just smooth on the underside, like the Lego baseplates are). This allows you to build amazing multi-level structures with them, for example. Well, he was right--these are totally legit. I'm sure Lego freaks the world over probably swear by these.

Product is good. It was shipped by Amazon in an unpadded bag. As a result the plates were slightly damaged. I did not return as it wasn't worth the hassle.

These are pricey for an off brand but they stock which is a huge plus!! My grandson loves them because they are stackable and most plates aren’t. They are nice and sturdy but I do think they should reduce the price. They aren’t a big name brand. The big plus is stack ability. If it weren’t for that I can get $1 plates that work very nicely.

Both my sons love building with Lego and are constantly creating "scenes" and backgrounds for their minifigures. These are a great deal, a great size and are just as good as the brand name. I plan to purchase more.

I bought this to complement my Lego builds. Found a video on Youtube with one fo the major reviewers on how to display my minifig collection. One of the options is using one strudy non Lego Baseplate to place them there. This plates are great. they have the same feel and width of regular Lego plates, except this ones are 36 by 36 studs.They are great to be used as part of my Lego City displays and really compatitble with any other Lego pieces you may have.
