Used to illuminate cloaks cupboard, replacing battery operated auto LED light strip. Replaced switch with door switch so light comes on immediately you open the door. Easy to install if you've got basic practical skills. Achieved desired effect so happy overall but as with all these products the durability is unknown at this stage so only 4 stars.

Added to the underside of our Kallax shelves and they look fab. Really easy to install thanks to the double sided stickers. I like that you can choose the brightness and that the control is operated by touch. I also like that it remembers your setting. So if you have it at 50% then turn it off, it will come back on at 50‰. The only downside for me is there is a whole lot of cabling (and cabling and I are sworn enemies!!) I've had to twist tie the excess and just let it dangle. Not great, but luckily it's hidden behind the cabinet. Useful though if you need the lights to stretch further out.I would definitely buy these again. In fact, I might order some more now I'm here...!

Easy to use display lighting. Happy with brightness & effect but sticky buds not strong enough to hold wires discretely.

If the supplied Power supply had been in black it would be 5 stars as the black is pretty ugly.I overcame thie ugly black power supply by using a small separate transformer for LED lights. (The supplier could not tell me which wire need to be connected to the positive but came back with the information that if I connected them the wrong way around it would do no harm. It didn't - they just did not work until the polarity was correct. Black dashes was negative.)I ended up with two of the LED lamps in the kitchen and the third as a low power down-light mounted to the head of the door frame to my slightly sheltered,but in darkness front door shining down to quite nicely illuminate the things. Time will tell how long it lasts and but I am happy for now and support were helpful..I would buy again and I would recommend with the caveat about the black power supply which, with the switch on the 12volt DC output circuit, means the transformer is always drawing power even if the lights are off - unplug or switch of at the socket for zero power consumption

Simple. If using in cupboards you need to drill a large hole so to overcome cut the cables rejoined just make sure joining correct as polarity sensitive 12v too bright so shielded for cupboard use. Think they would do fine as kitchen over counter display cabinets better a strip maybe

Bought a set of these a while ago and had no problems with them. Bought two more sets to use in a display cabinet and to modify a small lamp, both of which had a normal bulbs that would get hot. Managed to do the swap using just one set, so I now have a spare set.They give a nice cosy glow (so I'm told) on the dimmest setting (shown in the photos). I may use the spare set under the kitchen cabinets to replace the old fluorescent lights. If I do, they will see a bit more use than the others, so I'll update this review if I get any problems.

5 lamps fitted. By January 2018 4 had failed.Follow up report: I have now heard from the supplier and I have received new lamps under guarantee. As these have not yet been fitted I cannot comment on their future performance. Time will tell. As the only evidence of durability I have is based on the previous lamps, I am not able to amend my 1 star award at this stage. However I can commend the supplier's customer services department, which has been unfailingly courteous and helpful and is of 5 star qualityNew follow up: I have had the electrician in to fit the new lamps and he found that the old ones had failed because mice had nibbled through the low voltage cables. The lamps were OK and so I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 5 as the lamps are very good. - we have also had the vermin executioner in, so we hope that all will be well in the future

Supplied with the 'lenses' screwed so tightly to the housing that I had to use a vice and an adjustable wrench to undo them!! painstakingly wrapping each half with tape first to protect the metal. This was a real pain and I shouldn't have had to go to such lengths. The switch to adapter cable is rather short and no mounting method is supplied for the junction box or switch, which is a shame. Once fitted they illuminate very well.Edit...I have upgraded to 4 stars because the lights do a great job. My reservations still stand and of course no-one should have to go to the lengths I did to get the components unscrewed!
