TAGVO Bike Chain Tools Kit, Chain Whip with Cassette/Bike Cassette Removal Tool Pack

used it to renew the cassette on a my pre owned Kona mtb, the existing cassette showed no manufacturers logo or gave no hint of who made by, am sure if it had been Shimano it would have been engraved somewhere, but anyway i fitted a Sram Cassette, the lock ring tool engaged perfectly and the chain whip held the cassette in place equally as good. No horror stories about chain snapping or whatever, fitted new cassette and torqued up to 40nm the torque wrench fitted straight into the spline tool perfectly (1/2 inch drive), i dont know if they all do? but it is certainly extremely convenient, i understand that Sram and Shimano use the same lock nut design? , but can definitely confirm it fits Sram!. I only gave four stars for sturdiness because i simply dont know how it would stand up to very regular workshop use. All in all , cant fault it !! just as an aside I also got butter smooth shifting on the Sram cassette cabled to Shimano shifters.

Searched the reviews carefully for the tool with sturdier reviews.Delivered and packaged nicely.Cassette tool fitted perfectly my Shimano cassette.Applied chain whip after watching explanatory video, on large gear ring.Used wrench to turn cassette tool counter clockwise slowly increasing pressure until it released. Nice and easy with no drama.Cycle shop wanted £20 to release cassette off of my car crash damaged bike. I did it for the price of the tool and have the ability to build and break down other wheels myself now. A small thing that pleased me greatly!5 stars👌

The handle is sturdy and a good length but the chain quality is not great. The main free bit of chain came off at first or second pull. The rivet holding the link closed pulled through the side. I managed to get it back in and hammered it closed and then got the cassette off next pull. When I finished I went to put it away and then I noticed another link coming apart so I have returned it. The actual adapter was great, fitted nicely and worked well, real shame as the price was good. I’m sure a small change in production would fix this and it would be a great buy.

I needed a chain whip and cassette tool as our new Turbo trainer had the wrong cassette for out bike. Didn’t want to spend a lot on a tool that I’d use infrequently so chose this as having both components in one package. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and finish. It did the job perfectly well and has now joined the essential bike tool drawer

Can't knock it . Wanted it to do the job .it did that .Not the best quality, but hey I didn't pay top dollar.

Worked perfectly on my SHIMANO MTB CS-HG41-8 Cassette 8S 11-32TTo take my existing cassette off I did need to put a little force behind it and utilise the physics around levers. Also put a bit of WD40 on it to help loosen it up but nothing that others haven't been trying (when I Googled it).

Good value for money.

Was sturdy enough in conjunction with an adjustable wrench to remove a worn out cassette that had done 11k miles.
