At first, this spray seemed to deter our cat from scratching curtains and furniture. However the deterrent effect did not last longer than one or two days. Further applications were not as effective as the first. The manufacturers are on the right track but are not yet there in my opinion.

Do you want a product that doesn't work? If so, by this.
This product comes with a lot of assurances about it's effectiveness which prompted me to buy it. I got a new two seater sofa in a material I knew my cat would love to claw to pieces and started using this spray on the first day the sofa arrived. I used several times a week as instructed and about 5 weeks later, the bottle is empty and my sofa looks like its been attacked by a weed whacker. It's almost as if my cat waited until I sprayed this product to scratch it up in spite of me and my attempts. This product is garbage. Oh and every time she tried to scratch I took her to the scratching post and encouraged her to use that - normal cat behavioural training stuff so I know this product had no deterring effect at all.

It seems to work for the short while but it's not a very long term solution, the bets and cheapest alternative was to rub a fresh lemon and rind on the wall to stop the cats from scratching and it seems to have stopped them!!! Save yourself some pennies!

It doesn't even deter flies - waste of money
Dont bother with this product, it doesn't work. Looks like a few drops of colouring and fragrance added to a bottle of water, and that's exactly how it works. No deterrent!

It's ok
It doesn't effect my cat at all. I have need spraying one spot so many times and he still scratch it. Not effective product I think.

Cheap and does the job.
You have to spray quite often to start with but it is starting to work now.
