Plug and play - 4k-Res not checked
Arrived promptly. Just plugged it into my old MacBook Pro miniDisplay port and the HDMI lead connected to my Dell 24" monitor and there was an immediate display. I have been using it for a while with no problems.Haven't checked 4k resolution. Can definitely recommend for connecting FullHD (1080p) external monitor.

Works but not 100% what I wanted
lets me connect my mac mini to a hdmi monitor. I was hoping this would let me get my mac mini to display the full 3440×1440 of my monitor but alas no still locked into 1080p. If like me your buying to let macOS to allow you higher resolutions you will be disappointed. But it works well and will hopefully let me dual-screen in the future if needed as its give my mac and extra hdmi port

Excellent quality streaming from MacBook to TV
I bought this to connect my macbook to the TV to watch streamed films and it works perfectly. Am very happy with it. Note: I need to select the TV as the speaker output on the Sounds menu in System Preferences on the macbook each time I plug it in to get the sound to come out of the TV. Obviously this has nothing to do with the product but is something to bear in mind if you're buying it for a similar purpose!

A happy tier2 inmate
I already had one, which I’d been using for over a year. Accidentally stood on it on Thursday night and was horrified! Thanks to amazon prime my new one (which I ordered minutes after breaking my old one) arrived before I finished work on Friday meaning the weekend was saved. After all, what else is there for a single boy in tier 2 lockdown to do but Netflix?

Perfect for my needs & I imagine everyone else’s also 😀
Great little adaptor, using it for a Mac mini up to a hd non 4K tv via the thunderbolt Connector & a HDMI lead as my other HDMI docket I’m using Apple TV for & I wanted this in ready for when I eventually upgrade to a 4K tele lol. Anyhow I highly recommend this item 😀

Works as hoped
I have an old screen with VGA connections for which I already had a VGA/HDMI connector but I couldn't use that with my MacBook Air. So I thought I'd try a cable to connect the HDMI end to the lightening port and it seems to work fine! I bought the same make of adaptor - VicTsing. So I now have two connectors attached between the laptop and screen.

Works well and as expected. Good quality.
Mini display port plugs into the MacBook and the HDMI cable plugs into the other end, connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the projector or TV and it just works. Seems relatively well made, not flimsy at all. Not quite Apple quality but not far behind.

Works With MS Surface Pro 4
Bought this to connect my MS Surface Pro 4 to the TV via an HMDI cable and this does the job fine. Its a lot cheaper solution to buying the actual MS Surface connector which costs a ridiculous £40 + and is a complete rip-off and unnecessarily exploits existing customer/user loyalty !!
