Great kit
It’s been years since I last did any cross stitching, so this is a nice and easy way to get back into it. Plus I loved the designs.

Great price, decent product
First off, this kit is at a great price. For these six projects and shipping, I paid just under $20. That comes out to roughly $3 and some change per project! These are great for keeping busy, and I got them because the images stood out to me. However, I do have some cons to these pros. The fabric is stamped with different contrasting colors for each thread, but some of the stamped colors are a bit too similar to each other. For example, there is both a blue and green color in diagonals and x's. These two shades are similar, and I found it hard to distinguish between them at times. I have yet to finish my first project, but when I do, I will update to tell if the stamped dyes do actually wash out as the kit stated.

So far so good!
This is by far the largest piece I’ve cross stitched! I really like the quality and so far I have plenty of string. The only two drawbacks is that you do need to fill in the background with black stitching (I would have preferred being given black Aida rather than white) and I think the picture will likely come out more pixelated than the photos show (but it’s cross stitch so it’s to be expected).I do like that the fabric is stiff enough to not have to use a hoop, and I like that the pattern is pre-printed on the piece (per instructions it should wash out once you’ve completed it).

Beautiful, but short on floss!
This was fun to do, and I enjoyed it - but there was not enough floss to finish it. Otherwise, it was a good purchase. (I am not inexperienced at cross stitching, so that's not why I ran out of floss.)

Definitely set up for an inexperienced crafter
The kit has each house in a separate bag, so they don't get all mixed up. The threads are clearly labeled, and neatly separated. The Hufflepuff one had two needles stuck into the back of the cloth; I haven't checked the others, so they may or may not have needles. There are two labeled keys for the thread; both with colors/symbols, DMC number, and the number listed on the thread separation cardboard. The cloth is stiff and does not need a hoop. The print is on the fabric; note that it is NOT the thread color; it is more colorful to help separate stitching. The photo has the closer coloring, and correlates to the fabric perfectly. The only thing this doesn't do is start and stop the stitching, or separate the floss for you. I've just started it, so I can't say how it will come out. I'll try to remember to edit the review later, with a photo of the finished product.

Finally a kit out there.
Great product, the Aida clothes are good strong quality, the floss is great and the key is easy to follow.

I really am enjoying working with these projects. I thought I'd be closer to completeing them. For my granddaughter. When they decide to have children.
