Good book for beginners
I haven't read a technical book with such joy for a while. This book is definitely one of them. It will help you to build very solid knowledge on areas it touches. Highly recommended!

Helpful Companion
Not sure if I am smart enough for JavaScript, but this book has been a helpful companion in the attempt of learning. The book is written in an engaging manner and is easy to follow. I have encountered some typos and errors along the way which caused some stumbling. I guess in a way the errors have helped with the learning process because I had to figure it out.

Really good book covering multiple web development
I found the way this book is written and how it is separated out between different web technologies was very useful for both new and intermediate engineers

A great review for a great book on Javascript
Javascript All in One For Dummies by Chris Minnick, A Review by Derrick W. JacksonMay 26, 2024This book is exactly what you need to learn Javascript. I like the fact that Chris dedicated an entire book (7 books in All) to Javascript Basics. I found that knowing programming languages like C# and Java, made Javascript understandable because some aspects of the Javascript language were similar. I also like that chapter on the Web Browser. Chris’s teaching style of tough, technical concepts is understandable and easily digestible even if I had to read it over more than one time. He is also very thorough. This book covers ReactJS also just known as React which was created by Facebook and is very popular. You learn how to build a React User interface. Vite a tool for build React projects is covered. Chris introduces his readers to JSX which is a template language for describing user interfaces. Finally, he covers building components. I must admit there was a lot that I did not understand. I’m doing my best to keep up, but I will need to review these topics over and over.Chris covered the Vue framework. This framework is similar to React. In this book, you learn how to build applications using components and html templates. This book is a reference book for the Javascript ecosphere if I’m using that word right. And he ended it with Node.jsI would highly recommend this book to readers who want to learn Javascript. It has everything you need to get going. Chris did not have to do this, but I recently read and wrote a review for an earlier Javascript book that he wrote. Chris contacted me and told me that the book was outdated and that he would not recommend it now because Javascript had changed so much. He mailed me the paperback for this book. I would have never imagined that a famous author on Amazon would have done that. I greatly appreciate it and this book is well worth the money that you spend on it. I give it 5 stars.
