Fantastic flash, well worth the money.
An excellent flash, well-built, lightweight, and with all features expected from an expensive modern flash. Interface is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Unit recycles extremely quickly using Eneloops (4xAA), and is near-instant at 1/8 power or below. My only slight gripe is that the instruction manual is in fairly poor English, however it is understandable and I did not find the instructions at all necessary to use the flash as it is very straightforward.Wireless remotes work perfectly well, and contain the cables in their own box (I was initially confused as to where they were in the package until I opened the remotes). These can be used to trigger a studio strobe or the flash off-camera both via manual press or the shutter, or allow wireless trigger of the shutter and/or flash. Oddly the instructions for these are in perfect English, unlike the flash itself. Camera and flash can always easily be attached to a tripod regardless of the configuration of the remotes (including the provided stand). It should be noted that the flash will not display f-stop data when used off-camera via the remotesThe diffusers are very mediocre but do make a difference. However, the built-in diffuser I find made a much more noticeable difference than either accessory, although it is perfectly possible to use both in conjunction. The soft diffuser is the only real problem I have with this product, the elastic is very tight and it can be a bit of an effort to get onto the flash but is certainly far from impossible. It also seems to add a slight colour cast to my images, although nothing major and could easily be corrected in post. Still, I doubt I'll ever use it seriously, and there are likely far better diffusers out there than the ones in this kit.The lens cap holder I left in the packaging and never used, I imagine it would start losing stickiness after use on multiple caps.I would still definitely recommend the deluxe kit if you are in need of the wireless remote, as both they and the flash unit are excellent products, and I think the remotes alone are worth the extra money. However, the other accessories are very missable, although the diffusers are certainly far better than nothing.

Superb value for money
Awesome value for money. Powerful, easy to use, great build quality. There are 1.1 billion Chinese people. I'm sure many millions of them are fluent English speakers. Why don't any of them get recruited to translate instruction booklets?! Never mind. Awesome product at a fraction of the price of Nikon equivalent. Buy with confidence, but go easy on the battery flap. It's a little on the flimsy side to say the least.

Great Flash kit for the price
Great Flash kit for my Nikon D5k. Didn't want to spend much on a Flash cos I don't use one that often. Great features.Highly recommended. It's been more than a year and it still works fine. Powered by Amazon Basics rechargeable AA batteries this flash will not disappoint.Update:Flashgun was used about 20times total. Stopped working. If I used it more often, I'm sure this piece of crap would die a few months after purchase. Very disappointed. When it comes to camera equipment, you usually get what you pay for. Lesson Learned!

Great price and a very good product
I was a bit wary about buying this, but I am soglad I did. It is amazing value and everything works very well. The actual flash is great and does exactly what it should, very easy to use. The little remote devices are a fantastic addition..... They are fun and will come in very handy. All in all I am very pleased

Excellent for the price compared to the cost of a Nikon SB600.
Wanted a Nikon SB600 but way too expensive. Pondered this one at a third of the price and finally decided to plump for it as there were a number of good reviews online. I was not disappointed. The build quality is very good and it works very well. Also the remote system for using the flash off camera is a welcome addition and that works well too. Doesn't seem to work wirelessly though with my D7100 as a 'commander' - have to use the remote modules. If anyone is still in two minds I don't think you'll be disappointed if you buy.

Great flash and good value
Having never used a flash like this before I was a little confused until I read and re-read the instructions several times but once I got it working it was a breeze. Have used it both attached and separate from the camera and offers a great control of light intensity. For the price this is a great bit of kit and Neewer are fast becoming my go-to for camera equipment. Highly recommend.

Great but for one major fault
"For the price..." is the phrase I want to use. It is a good flash for all that and does everything I want it to (as a relative beginner to flashes) but for one major thing - which I have lost days of trying and googling and forum searching - IT WON'T WORK WIRELESSLY, one of the main reasons I purchased it.It works perfectly fine as a slave but unless you have it wired in to the camera (Nikon D800e) it won't go off when taking a photo. The pre-flash goes off before, so it's not a connection issue in that sense. I have tried every combination I can but it will not work in that way.I contacted Neewer, who replied initially, but when they found out I'd bought it from them through Amazon and not directly, they never replied back to me. I assume this is the reason.

Good flash head for the price. Decent amount of accessories too.
The flash head is very well built and sturdy. The fact that it takes AA batteries was a little disappointing, but on the plus side you can always carry spares in your bag. I hooked it up to my Nikon D610 and the iTTL was configured automatically and I was ready to shoot in seconds. Even though it says that the max sync speed is 1/250th of a second I found that anything faster than 1/180th will not work but your mileage may vary. The wireless triggers also work flawlessly, but they too require batteries (AAA ones) so you'll have to take care of that as well. I was surprised to find out that the flash trigger had a standard screw for a tripod so that you can easily fit it and use it as an assistant. The accessories that came with were a nice addition. Overall I am very happy with it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into flash photography.
