Does what it is supposed to do.
Does what it was designed to do. I also disagree with lengthy two star review. Talking about decarbing in ovens, ovens can differ by temperature as much as 20 degrees. So no guarentee you are using the exact temperature unless you calibrate your oven. It also is spread flat on pan so each piece has better exposure to heat than putting in a cup like container as which takes more time to heat up than oven. You cant compare the two experiences. I have an original “purple” decarb machine and it also runs 90 min. It takes preheating and cooling off into a total 90 minutes. So it runs exactly the same amount of time. I would not call that a fatal flaw. This product doesnt say it is an infuser on the box, but it mentions it in the directions which are not very clear. I know from my other purple brand machine (that has better directions), i can make small infusions. Decarb and run a second cycle adding butter or coconut oil. Which then needs to be strained. My point is, i think this will work the same but i havent tried it with this machine. There are so many ways to decarb and different machines or ways to use in recipes. It is more about figuring out what dose when doing recipes if you care about those things. i have not seen ruined or burned trichomes from either machine. I think majority of people will be happy with the unit which is about 1/2 price of the other brand i own. If your point is to keep down the odor. There are some machines that allow digital temp control. But i do not own one of those.

Does a great job
This is super-easy to use: plug it in, pour in your stuff, screw on the lid, press a button. If absolutely no aroma is important to you, this is not your product, but if you love just a bit of that scent, it’s perfect. Especially at the price, it’s hard to beat.

Overheats
I checked this before using. Good thing I did. Here are my results:Placed 60cc olive oil in new decarb machine started 80°Fafter 15 min 195.6°F after 30 min 249°F after 45 min 262°Fafter 60 min 264°F after 75 min 264°F after 90 min 238°FAs you can see, the machine runs too hot at 264 °F, I need the machine to run exactly 250°F. If it did, I could take care of the precise timing, as is, it runs too long as well. Emailed the company per their instruction manual, no response. Returned. If they resend this same unit to you, you can tell because I wrote the tare weight on the bottom of the inner cup.

Lets you de-carb an ounce at a time!
I love this decarboxylater! It is easy to set up and use and allows you to process up to an ounce at a time. Also works great on smaller amounts. Clean up is easy too. A great tool for making tinctures and extracts. Very happy with this machine!
