I was fortunate to find this edition. Condition is excellent. A reference book for all things sewing by Readers Digest publications. The whole volume full of detail, information, illustrations and guides.

A must have for a beginner sewer

I owned the first edition for many years until I gave it to my son at his request. I miss my original edition and was disappointed that it is no longer available but I am glad I purchased this newer version. It is nicely laid out, well-organized, well-written, full of good information, clear instructions, and accompanying illustrations that are very helpful. If you don’t have the good fortune to own the original version, I do recommend this newer edition as a comparable and suitable alternative.

This is more than just a beginner’s sewing book. It is highly recommended by several YouTube sewing channels. It has plenty of illustrations and easy to read, to the point directions. I highly recommend this book for beginners as well as intermediate sewists who want to expand their skills.
