Great Lock from a Reputable Brand!
I love the foldy lock that I bought with my bike, but our second bike lacked a lightweight lock, so this was a great find! Some reviewers found it too heavy, but these locks are much lighter and not hiccup-y to open like some U-locks.Ottolock seems to put a lot of thought into their products. These locks don't take away from the bikes aesthetics as so many locks and other attachments do. This folding lock is compact and thin so that it is not going to leave you bruised (it doesn't extend further than the frame, like my other lock does). The only disadvantage is that is that is not very long. Practically speaking, this should be an advantage because too much slack in any kind of lock is a greater invitation to thieves. When there is less space between the frame and the lock, it is more difficult to wedge bolt cutters and other tools to quickly break a lock. So shortest lock you can get away with, the better. Of course, sometimes reality dictates locking up to large poles. I've found with practice, there is usually away. (I also use two types of locks as added deterrent and together I can get enough length in tricky scenarios.)I do think the length of the velcro straps should have had an extra buckle to hold down the extra length, but that is not a deal breaker. This is a great lock. The biggest consideration is that you might want a longer chain.

HEAVY. But, seems solid.
This lock IS advertised for Ebikes, so I think weight is less of a concern on those scenarios. This thing weighs like 2 lbs. Any bike lock is really only a stopgap, or way to slow a thief down. I look at this as a compact alternative to a U-lock or hardened chain, and slightly better than cable locks. Overall it seems to have a good size for locking a bike to a stand or pole, and the included 3 keys give you a few options for having spares accessible or in vehicles. I haven't hit it with an angle grinder but it does overall seem sturdy. I suspect the biggest weakness is the lock itself or possibly the pivot points. I don't have a lockpicking skillset, but perhaps someday we'll see a review of it on our favorite video site, starting with "hello, I'm the Lockpicking Lawyer and... " - hahaha.Overall it's a pretty decent quality lock from what I can tell in this relatively short time.

A very secure lock that stores nice and small
I'm generally not a fan of locking my bike up when I'm out, but if I must I definitely only use extremely tough locks and stick with a 15-minute rule, and between the two I've never had a bike stolen in over 25 years. One of the great things about this lock is that unlike a U-lock, this folds up quite compactly and mounts to my frame in an almost entirely rattle free mount. I only say almost because bunnyhopping, and a few other impact-type maneuvers will result in a "clank" sound, otherwise it mounts really solidly. The key it uses has flats on both sides of it, making it extremely difficult to pick, and the bars of the lock itself are quite solid, though still easy to manipulate when locking your bike. Do pay attention to the size of it, as it will lock one bike/scooter/etc to something but trying to get two in there would be nearly impossible. While any lock can be defeated given the proper time and tools, I honestly feel quite comfortable leaving my bike locked with this. For my needs this lock is perfect. I wanted something super strong and secure that can also be stored with ease, and this lock does it all. It's simple to use, it doesn't risk scratching my bike, and it stores out of the way.

A good solid lock that folds into a small package
The media could not be loaded. I like most everything about this with one minor exception being it’s a key lock instead of a combination lock. Not a big deal. You get 3 keys so there should always be a back up should one get lost. I keep a spare in my vehicle and another in the house. The third is on my key chain. The case mounts to the accessory mount screws on your frame if you have them in a place that works with taking the lock in and out of the case. Mine just barely fits but does fit and work perfectly while still being tucked out of the way. It’s a little heavy but that’s not an issue with ebikes. Regular road and mountain bikes might find the added weight a little much. As with any lock a thief with a grinder will get through this but it would take effort and time. I feel it’s more secure than cable locks and easier to store on the bike. I like it and recommend it.

Strong lock and works great with fat tire e-bike
I use different bike locks for different conditions. If I am going to leave my bike somewhere for more than an hour, I have an expensive chain lock that is used with a heavy duty cable lock. I needed something for those situations where I need to step away and prefer not having to pack up the chain lock and cable. This fits that bill since it is compact and come with a holder. I have this mounted to the back of my front rack/basket where the small size and moderate weight are not a problem versus the chain lock and cable. The folding lock also make it easy to get the lock around the wide tires and frame. Definitely recommend.

Great lock - good brand
I'm a little paranoid about losing my $4k EBike to theft... so even though mine came with a lock, I wanted a second one for the times I leave it on the sidewalk in the city. This is a great lock by a good brand. It's hefty and solid. I'm sure I'd consider the weight if I were riding a manual bike, but I have no issue with loading my Ebike up with all kinds of gadgets regardless of the weight, and plugging it in each night when I get home. It's a good brand—a couple friends recognized it. I recommend it.

Versatile
This lock comes in a convenient carrying case with three extra keys and mounting hardware for a normal bike frame set up. The lock itself seems relatively durable, but let's be honest, any lock can be defeated. I have attached this lock to my electric scooter to lock it up in the city. It should serve its purpose on preventing anyone from taking it. The lock slips nicely through the wheel preventing it from rolling. I will update this if anything changes.
