FUNWHOLE Lighting Building Bricks Set - The Lighthouse of Alexandria Construction Building Model Set 1677 PCS for Teen and Adults with LED Lighting Kit

This kit is BIG, it stands around 16 inches tall with a suitably sized, detailed base.Building was relatively straight forward. I admit that I did add a couple of spare random bricks from my collection to shore up the base as it was flexing too much during construction. This was not a big deal to be honest, but the kit could be improved by some additional bricks to support the centre of the base, under where the lighthouse itself sits.Wiring was straightforward, with clear instructions, although I did need to repair a broken wire (this was totally my fault and NOT a manufacturing fault)There were a few spare bricks left over, which allowed me to fashion a housing for the tiny circuit board strip, which was left laying on the sdie of the building. It looked a bit out of place and seemed prone to possible damage. The quick modification does not look too out of place and makes everything look neat and tidy (and safe from movement). I've added a photo of this modification.I also swapped some parts around in the final two sections, purely to make the seperate sections stay together more securely, as I found that the wiring 'contact' pads tiny metal bent connectors were so strong, they would pop the joints and the lights would go out !Again, this was quick and easy to tweak and may not be necessary for every build.I really enjoyed making this kit. It feels just like building with that well known brand. The pieces lock together well and the kit even comes with tweezers for applying the few stickers supplied (flags). Included some printed bricks which are very nice touch.

Good quality kits, let down a little by quality control on what's in the box.Many missing parts, incorrect building instructions and often confusingly designed instructions mean it's a difficult and frustrating build.The kit is beautiful, but after purchasing two expensive FunWhole kits and finding them both full of missing parts, a lack of stickers and having incorrect instructions and a random flyer telling you to ignore the manual, I won't be buying from this brand again.

I like ancient architecture had to have this one little pricey but to me very much directions have few mistakes step 121 is taken care of give you page with right directions as you noticed I provided photo step 283 give you what pieces for this step when you look over where. It shows you how to put it together missing like smooth square to put on end should not be so many mistakes when you pay a high price for this model other than that pure joy to put together directions clear 98 % I highly recommend this company all around more positive than negative wonderful ancient architecture light house history of it fascinating thank you for taking time to read my review😊

Nine year old had a blast building it. One part was a bit tough to keep together but we got it in the end. Makes for a great nightlight.

Le montage du phare est plutôt simple. C'est l'installation de l'éclairage qui est un peu plus compliqué.Je ne regrete pas mon achat.

Lange Zeit habe ich eher die Militärmodelle von Cobi gebaut aber als ich dieses Modell des Leuchturms sah, wusste ich, dass ich es brauche und die Anschaffung war keine Enttäuscht.Neben dem Teiletrenner gibt es sogar eine Pinzette, soviel schon einmal vorweg.Anleitung ist ordentlich gestaltet, für einen Fehler in der gedruckten Anleitung liegt eine Korrektur bei.Die Steinequalität ist gut bis hervorragend, die Klemmkraft ist bombastisch.Das einbauen der Elektrik ist etwas frickelig und man kann eine etwas bessere Leitungsführung verwenden, als in der Anleitung vorgegeben, dadurch kann man die Kabel etwas besser verstecken.Wie man auf den Bildern sieht, funktioniert die Elektrik einwandfrei.Es gab in meinem Set auch keine Fehlteile. Es war eher das Gegenteil der Fall, bei dem Set sind sehr viele Teile übrig.Aufbau hat Spaß gemacht und ich kann das Set empfehlen.Mit Gutschein bleibt man auch zweistellig.
