Good value but requires assembly. Instructions are good and so is the online video. I find the bolts and barrel nuts fiddly because I'm quite old. I got there in the end. Two of the dowels were too short, but he sent replacements by return. Very impressed with that. I try only to buy from sellers you can easily contact. 10/10 on that score!

Good strong chair. Flat pack in very strong package, components of good quality.Quite straightforward to assemble IF you follow instructions provided and read reviews to be aware of pitfalls.Rather heavy chair because it is solid and strong.Good value

These are the second time I have bought these chairs and although not the easiest instructions to follow, once you get the first one wrong you realise what you weren’t doing right. Fairly sturdy and made of good quality material at a reasonable price. They go well around my old hexagonal table and don’t look too modern as to be out of place. I recommend them if you want something to sit on.

It came really fast. It’s very light and easy to put together. I bought 3 and they replace my old tatty chairs.

Before I purchased these chairs I read the reviews, most of which said that the chairs were strong and sturdy but the assembly instructions were difficult to follow. Based on the reviews on the strength of the chairs I decided to buy them and figured that in the worst case I'd pay someone to put them together for me.Delivery was super fast. I ordered 4 chairs on Thursday and they arrived on Sunday. When they got here I opened the packaging to make sure all the parts were there, which they were. I then decided that I'd give putting them together a go, and if I couldn't manage I'd get a handyman to do it for me.The sheet of paper with picture instructions was extremely difficult to figure out. However, there was a label on the box telling me to look up the instructional video on youtube, which I did. The Youtube video was only barely an improvement on the written instructions. Almost half of the video was taken up with talking about the parts included, and a lot of the assembly was done off screen, with the instructor only "telling" what he did after the fact, rather than showing step by step instructions.The video does assume some prior experience in assembling of furniture, which I do not have. I am hardly handy in matters of assembly. However, after watching the video once and fiddling about with the first chair, which did take me a while, the other three were easy to put together. I don't know how long the first one took, but the following three took approximately half an hour each. You do need to apply some common sense, but once you've got it figured out, it really wasn't difficult.They also could have made some screw holes in the seat, for those of us without power tools.The finished product is strong and sturdy. I do like that it has floor protectors on the feet, and from my personal point of view, the colour matches my table perfectly.In short, a bit tricky to figure out the assembly, but once you've got it figured out, not hard to put together and you end up with a strong, sturdy product.

The chairs are sturdy enough for our rumbistious grandkids, and food spillages can easily be cleaned off.The chair is easy to assemble (I am a 66 year old grandma and managed it by myself) , once you have CAREFULLY read the instructions (there are three similar, but not equally long, bars, that have to go in the correct place), and watched the video on YouTube. You can also ring the company that sells them via Amazon, and a very helpful man will give you all the help you need.What is not totally clear from the instructions is the following:Once you have very LOOSELY screwed together everything, except for the seat board, put the seat board upside down on a table, then place the assembled chair upside down onto the seat board (the back of the chair hanging down in front of the table) . This allows you to adjust everything to sit squarely. Once you have screwed on the seat board, place the chair right way up on a level surface (I put it on a table > easy access to all the screws) place some books on the chair seat so that all four legs are solidly standing on the table, and tighten all the screws, by giving each screw one turn, and then going round each screw again and again, tightening it again, till all screws are firmly tied in. Do not over tighten, you might split the wood.Enjoy.

They were delivered on time, but some small parts were missing, which I replaced from my spare box. Not easy to assemble and the instructions could be clearer as to which short bar goes where. The allen key is made of a softish alloy which I managed to round off trying to tighten the bolts enough, but again I used a spare from my tool box. They are not particularly comfortable, but adequate for a meal time.
