Great, well designed, easy to use MP3 player
It's been years since I've used an MP3 player, but personally I'd rather use my smart phone for other purposes - afraid to drop it or get it wet while I'm doing my work. This MP3 player solves the problem, incorporating radio, 64GB memory, earbuds, transfer cable, charging cable, and a convenient case. The player is very easy to use and produces great sound. The screen is not a touch-screen, so one must use the simple keys - but they are very large, intuitive to use, and honestly I much prefer this to icons on a touch screen. Despite it's need size, like a thick card, the radio reception is excellent and it is so easy to record one's favorite programs - or transfer them from my PC. Retro is good, MP3 player is a return to simpler times even if not listening to older music!

A decent all-around player, but a little pricey for what it is
I greatly enjoy the wealth of features available in this MP3 player; not only does it play a wide variety of audio files in lossless format, but I am also able to use it as a very capable step counter, FM radio, audiobook reader (there is a separate folder for ebooks, and it does not support text), stopwatch, alarm clock, and a very handy voice recording feature.I decided to try this device because I was looking for a nice MP3 player that would play a lot of my media files in various formats, and I was not disappointed. It's very easy for me to plug the device into my laptop, where it comes up as a removable drive, and then simply pull my audio files from my laptop into the music folder on the device. I believe there is also an included SD card in the slot; this didn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in the instructions, but there is an SD card symbol when the device is turned on, and it does appear as though a card is inserted into the slot when looking at it.The radio is FM only, but is a very nice feature, especially with the included headphones which act as the antenna. Admittedly, I was only able to pull in a few stations, but I believe that that had more to do with my geographical location then with anything else, and I believe that if I were in a larger area, I would have greater success. It supports not only US frequency bands, but also European and Japanese. The step counter feature is very nice to have when my Fitbit is charging, and it's very relaxing being able to exercise without having to carry around a mobile phone all of the time listening to music. I didn't really have any use for the stopwatch feature, but it seems to work well. The only thing I would change about this would be the coloration of the background which the clock numbers are set against; they were somewhat hard to read. The lightweight design of the device makes it very easy to carry on the go.I thought that the voice record feature was very handy for taking quick memos, although the mono speaker provided with this MP3 player is not the best, there's almost a telephone like quality when dictating, and every button press or creak of the MP3 player is picked up if you are handling it while recording. Still and all, it's so nice being able to put down my mobile phone when taking voice notes.Another handy feature is the fact that the touch sensitive buttons on the MP3 player are able to be backlit for easily being seen at night. This is especially handy when listening to music or audiobooks in your dark and bedroom. As for any serious complaints, I would have to say that the layout of the buttons is not exactly the best for me being left-handed. The voice record button is located on the lower left hand side. I believe that it should be raised higher up along the edge. Similarly, the volume and power buttons are on the right hand side, again near the bottom, and I think it would be helpful if they were reversed, placing the power button at the very top along the right hand edge, then followed by the volume buttons. Again, this may simply be because I am left-handed. Similarly, the menu button is in the very middle of the directional arrows on the front of the MP3 player, and the okay button is above these to the right, with the back button on the left. I think that the okay and menu buttons should also be reversed for ease of convenience, but once you get the hang of it via muscle memory, it's not really an issue either way.I did check out the Bluetooth connection feature, and while it detected my laptop, it would not connect to it. I do not have any Bluetooth earbuds which to test this device with, so I cannot say for certain whether or not they would connect easily if at all, but I feel that they should. There is a USB type-c charging port along the bottom edge of the MP3 player, which seems very convenient, however I think if I were to change anything else about this MP3 player, I would place the headphone jack along the top edge, so that if I'm carrying it in my pocket and choosing not to use the included wrist strap, it is not resting upside down and I can easily pull it from my shirt front in order to select songs, work with the voice recordings, etc.The settings menu is easily accessed so that you can change the date and time, or play around with your audio settings, just as you can with your voice recorder settings. Some of these offerings within the submenus seemed a little vague, but the included instruction manual was very helpful in clearing things up, even if it did have a few typos here and there.Altogether, I would consider this a very good MP3 player if you were looking for these handful of features and wanted to step away from the heaviness of mobile phones and touch screens (it's nice having physical buttons and not having to swipe and type on a screen all of the time), and I think that the weight is very agreeable in your pocket or hand for extended periods of time, or strapped to your wrist when you were exercising.Do I believe that this MP3 player is worth the price it is currently being sold for on Amazon? No. I think that if it were lowered by about $10 us, it would be a very good budget MP3 player or starter MP3 player, and certainly a very affordable step counter if someone was looking to exercise. It would certainly be a very good price for a small pocket FM radio, and it makes a very decent budget voice recorder, as well. The color is also very pleasant, which was a nice change from the simple black of my mobile phone. I think that this device would be very appropriate for children or for adults looking to buy something quickly and affordably. If I had to change anything about the physical body apart from the button placement, I would maybe include a metal clip on the back of the MP3 player so that it could be fixed to a shirt front and you could maybe cut down on the tangling of wired headphones when moving about. With that said, I really am glad I purchased it, and it will be great to take traveling with me, not having to worry about wasting my cell phone battery listening to music or audio, especially with the benefit of being able to use a micro SD card.

Great & affordable for what I needed!
I needed an MP3 Player with no internet access. And this was a perfect affordable option. I was able to connect normal headphones with it and upload music using a free service online. It was very simple. The player itself runs very well. The battery lasts a long time the screen. Or pixel quality is. Good and you can even play music without the headphones. Albeit quiellie, it does seem cheaply made, but not a lot of non-internet accessing mp. 3 players are out there anymore. So I'm just glad that this was on Amazon and. That I had some way to listen to music when I couldn't access the internet. I even remember there being options to upload eBooks and maybe even photos which is pretty cool if that's something you're interested in, but I cannot speak to those features.

Disappointing Defects - Look elsewhere
Most MP3 players have a standard design, layout, controls, and functionalities. This product had those, but it also came with several issues. One, it's incompatible with certain systems, such as interfacing with your car stereo (a problem that I have NOT had with multiple other MP3 players, including similarly inexpensive ones) -- and this is true either through a direct connection or via Bluetooth. The volume via Bluetooth was so low, I had to turn up both the volume of both the headphones and the device on max to make it audible. When in folder navigation, the return button does not back up to the next-highest level, but all the way to the beginning menu, which is a design flaw. The one-touch record key broke on the second day, falling inside the casing, and in my attempt to fish out the broken button, the screen stopped working. I would describe the last part as my fault, as I could have simply left the button alone and done without the record function, but the player was already failing at the two things I purchased it to do. There are many other options out there for MP3 players. I would skip this one.

Light weight small with plenty of space for songs
It’s a light weight, small size media player with good reception for FM radio. Sound is crisp and clear if you want to listen songs.Navigation is plain and simple , nothing overtly complex . Comes with a nice storage pouch to attach it to your belt.As it has usb C so charging is quite fast.At this price point it serves as a nice gift .

Great but not intuitive
Got it specifically for recording radio.Record quality is great.Navigating is a pain!! It’s not intuitive and you have to “re-learn” how to navigate. Had to read through the manual a few times. The physical buttons on the sides are awkward to press being on the bottom. It’s more comfortable if you flip it upside down, but then the touch buttons are useless. It will take practice to remember how to get to what I need and do what I need. Will keep because the radio record quality is good.Don’t loose the cord it comes with!!! No other cord will charge it!!It does come with a case and accessories you need to listen/record. Even comes with an arm band.If I didn’t need it specifically for radio recording, would return. There are better music players out there.
