Really really bright
My ageing dad's eyesight is failing and he was always complaining about the lack of light.I bought him this light bulb system and he's not complained since. It really is very bright

Doesn't work
I had to return this. The phone doesn't sync. I spent several hours following very difficult instructions and different instructions from the helpdesk. Would be been a great help to my mother if it worked.

not clear to set up but once done works well with the main phone
Needed this as an extension to the Geemarc Amplidect295 Photo for my dad who suffers from Alzheimer's and has been increasingly struggling to type numbers correctly. It's okay, but set up can be difficult: very unclear on how to pair with the main phone - the instructions make it apparent that you pair with this phone's base unit when it is actually the main phone's base unit. Needed a call to UK Geemarc with the engineer (who was helpful) but even then took a number of goes before success. Don't give up, call the engineer (from other reviews that say it doesn't work, I suspect others may have given up). Once done, however, works perfectly, and supplements the main phone. The four picture buttons are programmed from the main handset.

Product description ok but not helpful enough
When ordering this product the item description does not say “you will need the accompanying base unit” and does not send you to the other base unit page.

It’s good to talk..
Great product, simple to set up & programme. Great for my elderly relative who has hearing, vision & dexterity issues. It’s nice to be able to talk on the phone again. Definitely recommend this product

Once it was set up and paired it was very useful

NOT A PHONE
this is NOT A proper PHONE and is not compatible with Geemarc phones. it has 3 photo spaces and emergency services programmed into it. it cannot be charged on Geemarc phone bases. might be Ok for someone with memory loss.
