Bought this for my grandad as a repair shop quoted him about £100 to fix his Wi-Fi card, i told him about this and ordered it for him and it works perfectly. Its small and unnoticeable the signal is great and it works perfectly fine with his computer. Simple plug and play, no noticeable power difference either. He is very pleased and saved £100

good product that's never let me down
This TP-Link AC600 Wireless Adapter has never let me down! It’s been a great solution for improving my Wi-Fi connection, especially on devices that don’t have built-in dual-band capability. The adapter connects quickly, maintains a stable connection, and handles both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands without any issues.For the price, it’s a fantastic value. The setup was easy, and it works seamlessly with my devices. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s always been reliable. If you’re looking for a good quality USB adapter at a reasonable price, this one is definitely worth it!

A bit hit and miss sometimes
This adapter replaced my in built one which was starting to be a bit fussy. It’s the same brand, but this new one can be a bit hit and miss when I switch my pc on. It takes a few minutes to stabilise and when I join a game I can get lag spikes for 5-10 minutes. Sometimes unplugging sorts it, other times not. I’ve also found if I switch windows from one activity to another, Netflix to a game for example or vice versa, it kicks me off the game saying no internet connection. So it’s a bit unpredictable there. It does drop out occasionally as well but it’s manageable and when it’s working I easily get 30-40mbps where on my inbuilt I was struggling to hit 10mbps at best consistently. For the price it’s ok, but I might look for a better one that’s a bit more stable.

Don’t buy if you’re on MAC 10.15
Says OS X 10.15 on the box.Website allows for driver to be downloaded but it fails everytime. TP-link help desk say it won’t work with 10.15. Currently there are no WIFI adapters for MAC OS X 10.15.
