While l love the product in itself.....
The buttons are big, safe and brightly coloured and sure to be a winner with my twin grandchildren......BUT I received only 60 buttons instead of as stated on the container 64!!!!!Also they are random in that l only have one red button and one blue triangle.....but SIX green diamond shapes! Please can there be more care taken in making sure the distribution of button shapes and colours are more equal.I will be keeping the product though as I think they are amazing play value.

Big, colourful buttons!
Arrived after just 2 days. Brilliant! Bought for my grandson's 3rd birthday as he always enjoys sorting my button jar. Thought he would like some of his own that he can play with unsupervised as they are large and safe, unlike mine.64 sturdy buttons in bright, primary colours, 8 different shapes and four coloured laces for threading. Other brands have far less for a similar price, so they are good value. Lots of options for sorting, stacking and making designs. The tub to keep them in may not last as long as the buttons but it is quite adequate. Very pleased!

Pieces missing
This product is great for reinforcing a child’s fine motor skills. The shapes are a good size. I’m sure my son will play with them for hours, and in lots of different ways.Despite the item and instructions showing it is 64 pieces, I only have 58. I know it’s a point of principle and a question of value for money too. So I ask myself. Will my son notice - probably not. Will it spoil his enjoyment of what he has got - no. This is definitely not the point, but it’s not worth the effort complaining since he is having fun anyway.

Excellent for fone motor and colour/shape recognition
My 36 month old LOVES these! I was worried he would launch them all over the house and try and strange let himself but he has really enjoyed threading, sorting the colours, telling me the shapes and making "my necklace" his 8 year old autistic and adhd sister even sat and played for a while! The buttons are a lovely size and appear to be tough and long lasting. The laces are a lovely length and feel smooth. The box has a lovely carry handle however my child can get this off easily. And once bored with threading they can put all the buttons in and shake it to make a "lovely" noise!

Great little toy
Great little toy! Helps with hand-eye coordination. My nearly 3 year old likes it! Buttons are big enough so not to worry about chocking, although the strings need to be looked at when playing for little ones. Lovely. bright colours.Lots of Shapes. The holes in the buttons are a bit small, but that is how little one practise patience! :)

Great, but couple of irks
I've bought 4 of these, one for my son (aged 2) and others for gifts as it's a great fun but educational toy. I looked at a lot of alternatives but chose this one because of the variety of shapes, nice size buttons, and handy storage jar.Although I believe this is the best option on the market it only gets 3 stars for the following reasons which would be easy to fix, even at the low price..1. The colour distribution is poor. There are 8 of each shape but colours are random. As mentioned I bought 4 of these. One of the reasons I bought more was so I could mix them to even out the colours a little more but i also thought they'd be good gifts. 3 of the 4 jars weren't too bad but one had only 5 of one colour and over 20 of another.2. The jar is made from thin plastic so will break very easily (it hasn't yet). For the age range the storage jar should really be stronger. It could also be improved if the shapes were sized to lay together neatly for picture building. Instead, they are all roughly the same diameter. However, for the price this is a minor point and did not affect my rating.
