Humax RM-F04 Remote Control Set-Top Box TV Buttons

We had the original remote for 7 years which I thought was pretty good considering it’s used a lot daily, but decided that now that we needed to stick the battery compartment down wth sellotape, and some of the keys were worn it was time to replace. I’m very pleased with the replacement which is exactly like the original and works exactly the same. All you need to do is add the two AAA batteries press the pvr button on the remote and away you go. My Humax works independently from my other devices so there are no code numbers etc to worry about. It’s an excellent product and I’m sure it will last out the life of my Humax.

Replacement for old remote all good

Payed more to get a genuine Humax device and not a cheaper cloned multi-model item. In short, very pleased and it works a treat and needed no setting-up. The old remote lasted 6 years and the buttons gradually lost their sensitivity. I am an old and bold electronics engineer and whilst I could have opened-up and cleaned the button contacts, my bitter experience is that this would only provide a brief respite and the problems would soon return. Recommended.

I ordered the remote hesitantly as I feared that it may be a cheap reproduction, like so many others here on Amazon. And, having received it yesterday, I thought it might be, as the keyboard layout and writing is slightly different to my old one (but that is 10+ years old, so changes have occurred I guess).However, since checking the HUMAX webpage and testing the remote, I am quite confident that it is original. It looks like the latest remote displayed on the webpage and it works exactly like my old one, controlling both my FoxSat HDR and my TV. A few buttons are in a different position, I need to get used to that, but the keyboard is nicely responsive and works perfectly. Happy days. (A little bit of internet search is required to find the list of codes for devices and how to program it - nothing like that is included.)

Product exactly as described & good value. Same as original & works perfectly. Well pleased as now using 3rd remote for Humax recorder/HD digital box. It seems that there is a basic design fault in this Humax product in respect of some buttons, which after a few years of use get progressively sticky, slow to stop working. Very frustrating as something never experienced with TV and other remotes. Thank goodness this replacement product is available or Humax recorder/digital box would become useless as manual controls of front panel are too tiresome for regular navigation.

Has identical functionality to the original. TV, Dvd and audio buttons can be programmed if you have the original code list.

I bought this to replace my existing remote control, which had a button that had become a bit difficult to operate. The new remote’s mouldings are subtly different to my original, and the font of the text is larger. It works perfectly. I have been able to configure the remote to operate my ageing DVD player, TV, and audio; just the same as the regional remote.
