Great for Windows IOT
For those who want to run Windows 10 IoT on a Raspberry Pi, this is a great touch screen. Here is what I did to get it to work, and you don't need any drivers. Don't power up your screen until the steps are done as it won't work.1) Set up your WIndows IoT SD card using the IoT dashboard software from Microsoft using your PC2) Navigate to the config file (mine was in drive I) and open it in notepad3) Add/Edit the following lines:max_usb_current=1hdmi_mode=1hdmi_mode=87hdmi_group=2 hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 04) Connect the HDMI lead5) Connect the usb from the screen to the Pi. NOTE: Make sure the cable is fully wired for data and NOT just a power lead or touchscreen won't work!! (I wasted an entire day doing exactly that)That's it. You can see in the pic Windows IoT has found the touchscreen. I did a test using WIndows Universal App with a button and the click event fired as expected. As the screen is quite large it might be worth, especially for 24/7 projects to connect the screen from a powered USB hub.Very happy with this quality of the screen

Excellent repeat purchase
These are good screens. There is very little else to say!My first had a frame, but this is really unnecessary for many users. The handy holes in the circuit board make fixing the screen to a light timber background or frame easy, provided you allow a few mm for component clearance at the rear (spacers are provided for this, for example).Use with a Raspberry Pi needs a small tweak to the config file, which is easily done if you follow the Wiki page for the screen at Waveshare's website.Excellent power use; I get minimum 5 hours with Rasbpi 4B and this screen running together.

Touch LCD user interface
Need touch LCD for a piece of equipment being developed. Looks the part but as yet has not been connected to anything. Will update when it has been fully connected up and used.

Tested on win 10 & raspberry pi
Liking this screen I purchased this and arrived same day plugged in to raspberry pi and worked straight out of the box just had to edit the config file to get smoother image but apart from that was working straight out the box. I plugged this screen into my win10 laptop and the laptop screen was mirrored to this screen and I was even able to use the touch screen on windows 10

Nice screen, but really bright
I like the screen, the touch works great and without drivers, but to get it to output from a Raspberry Pi you'll need to modify the file at /boot/config.txt and add these lines:max_usb_current=1hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0hdmi_drive=1My only real problem was the lack of brightness control for the backlight, there's only "on" and "off", the problem there is that the backlight is brighter than the sun and if you're running on a power bank, then you're charging that a lot. In the future I plan to maybe bypass the circuit for the backlight switch and put some resistors in.
