Prior to this I had a similar model torch that used the Cree T6 LED, and it was quite fantastic. Great battery life, amazingly bright, light but well built - it truly was a great little torch especially considering it cost around £10.But as with all things, time isn't kind. After about 3 years of owning it, it began to have small malfunctions, which quickly turned into not working. My husband requires us to have several torches around our home, "just in case", so he needed to purchase a new torch. As he is a bit of an electronics geek, he knew about the newer Cree XM-L2 LED and really wanted to give it a shot.This torch does not disappoint!!!! It is so much brighter than the previous T6 LED, yet it is also more power efficient, meaning we have to recharge our 18650 batteries less often. To test how bright the new XM-L2 is versus the older T6 was very simple. We have a head torch for walking the dog that has 3 T6 LED's in it, so we put that to a test one dark evening, and we were shocked with the outcome: the Cree XM-L2 LED is so much brighter than the Cree T6 LED! We could see objects further away and more clearly with the small hand-sized torch, it was truly shocking.Now my husband is on a mission to replace all of our older T6 torches with newer XM-L2 models.This little torch is robust in build quality, being machined from aluminium, and it is well made. There are many models of this torch that are sold by different companies, and I cannot attest to their quality, but I have had this torch since August 2018 and it still looks and works just as it did when it came out of the box. I cannot recommend this torch more highly, you will be happy with it.My one suggestion is to buy a reasonable quality 18650 battery recharged made by a company such as WindFire, who also make 18650 batteries. I bought one for under £10 and I feel safer using it to recharge my batteries than with the single slot, no-name charger that comes with most of these torches.

great little torch and very bright

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could - 3 is too low and 4 is too high.For £7.99 I can't really argue with the quality and brightness of this torch. It's cheap, yet well made, and very bright.However, this torch is not capable of producing anything near 1200 lumens. I have an old Xtar BK10 which also uses a CREE LED, and is rated for "just" 450 lumens. The brightness of both torches is just about equal, with the BK10 having a slight edge.

It was a dark, windy October night when I decided I needed a new compact torch. Logged on to Amazon and they promised delivery next day - fine chance of that happening I thought as I wiped the rain from my eyes and continued my walk.The next day was surprisingly sunny and bright and before I could fully enjoy this late sunny day the man from Amazon arrived. His sleek vehicle (OK I made that bit up - it was a van) pulled up and out he got leaving the small and perfectly formed Amazon box on the front step before ringing the bell to let me know he’d arrived.I rushed to the front door full of excitement for my new purchase, it had good reviews and I was excited and anxious at the same time - would it live up to my expectations, would the torch be able to shine a light on the darkest of recesses and bring light to where there was darkness? That and a thousand other questions (only some of those questions relating to the torch ) rushed through my mind.I grabbed the package from the step and tore open the cardboard - and then the euphoria of the purchase evaporated, like the steam off a freshly brewed coffee, inside the cardboard was a jiffy bag, in my new level of reduced excitement I ripped it open and there in all its glory was my new undamaged and unscathed torch.Black in colour with a solid metal feel and quite weighty it gave the impression of being a really professional piece of kit, on the barrel the name, Ledeak whilst on the opposite side was XM-L2 and at the front of the torch, a focussing collar that showed graduations from x1 through to x2000, at the base of the torch was the orange on off button / firing pin.I could hardly wait to fit it with batteries, 3x AAA (not supplied but that’s what the batteries from the TV remote are for - wife couldn't understand why TV wasn't working later that day), they packed easily into the plastic cylinder quite snugly and the whole assembly was then loaded back into the body of the torch.The moment of truth - I armed the torch (I pressed the orange button to turn it on) and light filled the room, a spider scuttled across the ceiling (three rooms away) but it could not escape the beam from this torch. I decided to try it to its full potential - I lovingly slid the collar to adjust the focus, it moved smoothly and efficiently like a well oiled machine, which was surprising as there is no oil.With the collar extended the beam was centralised - over head as it passed was there International Space Station,, I flashed them - they flashed their lights to let me know they had seen me (OK so that’s made up as well - the space station does not have main beam headlights) Fully retracted the beam became wider, lighting the immediate area in a glowing warm light.I disarmed the torch (pushed the button to turn it off), after all the power of light is well known, and placed it in the drawer, darkness now held no fear for me, there is nothing to fear except fear itself.That concludes my review of the torch, in brief, delivered on time, not damaged, nice looking, I anticipate it to be durable because it is metal.This review has been brought to you courtesy of lockdown and my intense boredom.

For the price you cannot go wrong, a good all round torch with excellent range . The battery charge is also very impressive.

This torch is ideal if you want a very powerful but is also light enough to hold and small enough to put in your pocket. I use it to see down my small garden at night when my aged and nearly blind bearded collie needs a guiding light to see his way back indoors after going outside at night. The torch illuminates the garden fully and it can also be adjusted from the top to point a direct light onto anything that may catch your eye. I also bought one for my mother, who is 85 and needed a powerful torch that she could handle. I would recommend this to anybody - a well deserved 5 stars.

Köpte den här eftersom jag ville ha något relativt litet och starkt att ha med mig på sjän och när jag går ut med hunden på kvällen. Ljusstyrkan är fantastisk och zoom-funktionen är imponerande när man vill peka ut något på håll.Jag har också köpt den dubbelt så starka från samma tillverkare och även den imponerar men den är också större vilket är till dess nackdel även om båda är riktigt bra.

Prezzo indubbiamente abbordabile per una torcia molto potente, con pile alcaline una durata molto buona, per ora non ho potuto provarla con la ricaricabile da 3,6 per la quale comunque viene fornito l’adattatore. Non mi sono azzardato a provare l’impermeabilità perché ho bisogno che funzioni 😀 ma non tutti abbiamo bisogno di una torcia che costa 10 euro funziona benissimo e vada anche sott’acqua.

La lampe est de bonne qualité, tout en métal. Elle pèse 170g avec les piles.Elle est de petite taille, ce qui est pratique pour l'emmener avec soi en voyage. Le zoom sur la lampe est pratique, cela permet de concentrer le faisceau lumineux sur une surface plus réduite afin d'avoir un éclairage encore plus fort. Je recommande

Eclaire très bien et on peut mettre petit ou grand faiseau .Il y as la pile pour le recharger par usb .Quand quelqu'un voit ma lampe les gens hallucine comment elle éclair bien ( même dans le ciel ) . J'en ai acheté 2 autres plus tard une pour mon conjoint et une pour ma mère .
