Yes it is small, but really lots of fun!
I had to get one of these since Pacman was big back in my day. I already knew it was super small and tiny and controlling it wasn't going to be easy so I won't give bad reviews for those. I had to play the game with my glasses removed...because I needed a very up close view of the screen! It is tricky to manipulate the tiny joystick, but once you play it long enough, you will get the hang of it. Ghosts move slow, that's ok, you can play longer! I scored 40,500 on my first game out of the box. It's something I won't play marathon games on, looks nice displayed. It's a curiosity object and would surprise people to know that it actually plays the game. Once in a while I'll play a game for fun. I wish in this case the joystick was centered on the console and the buttons on either side. That way both left & right handers can feel comfortable with it. What's nice is the original artwork for the side panels and front panel are like the original game. Sound is ok. The siren background sound remains constant throughout the maze, doesn't increase in pitch the more dots you eat. Has a keychain attached, but I wouldn't attach keys to it though and haul it around, could get dinged up and possibly broken.

Amazing, like the arcade original shrunk down to 3.5" Tall.
This has the look of the arcade and the authentic sounds as well, with full color and contrast on a screen that resembles the arcade original, which are all very important qualities, so you don't feel like you're playing an NES port version or a low quality knock off, but I'd say 99% similar to the arcade original with 1% off for the tiny size required to fit into the screen as well as the only flaw, the ghosts move slower than in the arcade version, so the game is on the easy side, which I honestly don't mind considering how tiny the game is. Even so, it's very playable and the tiny size is a major part of its appeal.I find it easy to play with the left thumb, which controls Pac-Man really well. The controls are tight and responsive, so I feel 100% in control of Pac-Man as he moves through the maze. Like the original, there is only one maze in the classic Pac-Man, but it does include the cutscenes with music.I'm very impressed by this Tiny Arcade series, and putting these next to each other, side by side in the dark, it looks and sounds like you shrunk the arcade cabinets down to about 3.5 inches tall. Amazing.

Over priced
Yes if you just gotta have it get it. But it's over priced. It's too small , even if you have normal sized hands it's too small for you.

Overall an amazingly accurate recreation of the original game; not perfect but great for the money
I recently decided to give this mini Pac-Man game a try. I am an old-school child of the 80s, and I have a full-sized arcade machine of Pac Man, so I am well aware of how the real game plays. This little game is darned close to the original, and overall is an amazing and fun little device for the money. And when I say little, I mean it is less than 4 inches tall and literally has a key-ring on the back (but I removed that as it really is too big to serve as a keyring, but just realize that the buttons and joystick on this thing are tiny, but they do work). Note that there are several 1 star reviews; most of these are unhappy about the small size, but the dimensions are in the description of the product (and again, part of the appeal IS the small size). What I love:- The game is recreated (or mostly likely just ported) over accurately, including the levels, different "fruits" on different levels, and even the cut screens.- The screen is very bright and sharp; the resolution could be a little better, but it is so tiny that overall it looks great and very much like the actual arcade version.- The cabinet design is nice and colorful; even when the machine is off it makes a nice little conversation piece.- It uses 3 AAA batteries that are accessible and replaceable from the back by removing one screw, so this unit in theory should last a very long time if treated gently.- Despite the tiny size, it really is playable! However, it isn't perfect, so if you are an arcade snob or perfectionist, here are a few issues:- Playability is good, but the game play feels slightly slower than the original on earlier levels, and much slower on the more advanced levels. I can play this game almost indefinitely without dying.- High scores are not stored after you turn off the game.- Joystick placement is not consistent with the original game (but now we are really nitpicking).- Volume is not adjustable and there is no "mute" (makes it tough to play in the office!).But overall it is a neat little collectible and a perfect gift for anyone who loves arcade games from the 80s; again, this is an amazing little device for the money.

Fun, playable mini arcade game; can be mod to unlock all four games...
This is a fun, playable tiny arcade game which is very realistic. Although it would be eye straining to play for more than a few minutes at a time due to the tiny display. I was pleasantly surprised the marquee actually lights up when powered on. For this version it is pre-selected to play Pac-Man. But it can be modded to unlock all four games on the circuit board (Ms. Pac-Mac, Pac-Man, Galaxian & Space Invader. For those interested in the mod, search "Tiny Arcade by Super Impulse 4 position DIP switch modification" in Youtube for the instruction video.
