Make your own Skulls from this highly detailed reusable latex mould.

This is a very good quality latex rubber mould, with very nice detail. I have bought several moulds from supercast and they have all been excellent quality.I have made a number of different casts from this mould (see photos) (various plasters, resins and even concrete!) and it is still going strong.Very good mould. Recommended.A couple of bits of advice if this is your first time casting;1. use a good quality "hard" plaster (e.g. Stonecast, crystacal or similar rather than (say) plaster of paris, as PoP tends to be too soft and brittle, in my experience and is not good for fine detail pieces.2. When removing the cast from the mould, rub talc on the outside to reduce friction of the latex rubbing against itself. It makes demoulding much easier. You can also use undiluted washing up liquid but beware, this will slowly degrade your latex mould over time and make sure you wash it all off thoroughly immediately after use.

Used this mould with white chocolate to put on top of a cake. The detail is amazing! Everyone commented on the skull.

I got this mold in the hope that it would work to make some skull shaped candles, however no matter what I did the mold kept sticking with the wax and nearly damaged the mold as a result of this - my mistake and nothing to do with the mold!I ended up having to get a different mold made of silicone for my purposes but have kept this mold as I want to use it for other crafts as I really like the quality.Only issues were that I found it a little tricky to get the product out of the mold BUT that could be user error! 4.5*

This turned out better than I hoped, highly recommend. I used resin which I new would be mat finish not gloss as it's a latex mold, absolutely beautiful so happy, mold is great quality and easy to use.

When i ordered i thought I was going to receive a decent size skull for mouldingNot cheap with postage on top but on arrival I couldn't believe just how small the skull was And not much use to me but here are bigger sizes available from the manufacturer . Depends what you expect but pictures can be deceiving .

Really liked the detail in this mold. I used it with white chocolate. Didnt need to grease it. The chocolate popped out nicely after around 2hrs in the fridge setting. Definitely recommend this product.

Person wanting it says item seems okay, quality of mould looks to be okay, although they haven't used it yet, as their not sure if they're going to use plaster, ice, chocolate or what?! And they still haven't used it - will update when I know what’s come out of the mould.
