Bought this for my boyfriend who plays in pool tournaments and he says he loves it. It was just what he wanted, does the job effectively and upped his game without having to buy a new cue. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.Update, my boyfriends car got stolen with his cue and accessorizes including the bow tie. Didn't take me but a minute to know I would order him the same bowtie I bought originally. The seller reached out to me asking why I purchased another one, great customer service. My boyfriend loves the weight and size of the bowtie.

Item built well, works great easy to use! Good value for price!

I like this tool, but it doesn't cut as fast as good sandpaper tools. The coarse silicon carbide is friable (it breaks down and fracture during use), so mine has gotten "dull" after a bit of use and it doesn't work as quickly. It also tends to crate an uneven scuff pattern if you aren't careful. That being said, it still works well and has a dime and nickel radius surface, so it is convenient. That DOES work well is the needle tapper. The surface it leaves takes chalk extremely well, and I rarely miscue, even if I don't chalk for several shots. It certainly seems to make a difference. That being said, I don't think I would buy it again, but I wouldn't tell anyone else that it was a bad quality product. I just prefer a different style of shaper/scuffer.

I have always needed this tool to keep the end of the cue in great condition. It works just fine. One small comment, the picture in the ad shows a very shiny chrome finish. The received is a much duller finish. Fortunately the look of the tool has little to do with it function. I point it out to let you know mine was not shiny!

All 3 work great the scuffer, the shaper and the softener works as it should and it looks real cool. But most importantly I finally have a tip that I shaped to what I like and now I really like my stick.Thanks,Scott

Item was delivered on time. This was a xmas present for my father in law. I knew there was a pool table in the basement, so I figured why not try and search for a item that's different from the normal pool table package. He just opened it today and loves it. So as of now I will give it 3 stars. He'll keep me updated on how well it works and if it's durable.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for father in law, he thought it was really cool!
