Great for 8th to 12th grades
For our first 9 weeks in 9th grade (home school), my HS freshman is whipping through this workbook. He has only favorable comments about its layout, text, and exercises. We do not do the activities more suitable for a group; in addition, my child doesn't like making things. There are, however, plenty of those activities as well.Book is arranged so that everything you need in terms of text is included. It's a text as well as a workbook. We are using the book to accompany this course: Great Courses: Classical Mythology Course Guidbook and 24 Lectures on 4 DVDs  Also available in other formats so don't just rely on this linkAlso recommend this book. The charts fold out and you will finally get everyone as straight as it's possible to get them The Genealogy of Greek Mythology: An Illustrated Family Tree of Greek Myth from the First Gods to the Founders of Rome Also available in other formats so don't just rely on this link

Condition was not accurate
This book was supposed to be "used very good" but pages of the workbook had been written in limiting its usefulness to me. I feel that is not part of the "very good" guidelines.

Overall I like the book...
...presents a really nice summary of Greek and Roman mythology with good illustrations as well as a variety of types of questions about topics covered in each section...however, answers are NOT included...and I couldn't find any listing for an answer book on the publisher's website...which means it's up to the reader and/or teacher to figure out the answers...and unless you're truly a mythology buff, that can be a time consuming process...hence, I was compelled to knock it down to just three stars...
