saving $ backing up photos
I bought this external hard drive to back up my photos from my phone. It was packaged well, and once I took it out of the box and put it on the charger, I found it was already charged and ready to go. I do like that all the connectors are attached (as I'm always misplacing them). Once I plugged it into my phone, the process was easy to download all the pictures and videos.I plan to keep using this every time my phone says I don't have any storage left.

Great Customer Service
We love the unit but a problem arose with the auto backup. I emailed the company and within three days they corrected the problem, had me download the updated APP and it works great. Great response and Customer Service!!!

Software is nearly unusable
One of my worst Amazon purchases. Will not save ALL your files, just some of them. If you just want photos maybe this is good enough. If you want to save voice memos or downloads, or other kinds of files, forget it. The software is doomed. Rudimentary. Save the packaging for the return.

Does what it says
Love that it copies files directly from your phone without a computer go-between. I like that it gives the option to delete from your device once transfer is completed. Speed could be improved upon but not a deal breaker. Also you do have to download an app, again not a deal breaker.

Not user friendly
The copy over worked well. The problem is deleting the photos that you don’t want to keep. The interface would be better if you had a file explorer type interface where you could go through and select everything you want to remove and mass delete.

Plugged into IPhone with ease
Got this to avoid paying Apple more money each month for more space. I have a ton of photos and videos on my kiddo that I refuse to delete. Plugged the device right into my phone and it backed up perfectly. It uses the charging port for backing up so be sure you start with a full battery.After it saves everything it also gave me the option to delete everything it backed up on my iPhone and iCloud. I enjoyed that feature because it would have taken forever to delete everything.
