No it doesn't, seems that those are difficult to find these days. Also, arm does not lift automatically at the end of the record.

Do you need to buy a mat for this?

No, you do not need to buy a mat, the record is placed directly on the platter. It is a good home record player with radio & it plays MP3 tracks via SD card/USB stick too in the later models - Digitel Technology Ltd 0845-1808007 (There are a number of Sellers, you need to choose which to buy from, we offer phone support, not just email support)

Does this have an automatic return arm
