Nice and compact. Transfers speeds are ok.

Another good startech item. very basic, but made of metal and runs at a good speed.

I bought this and kept it for use at a later date in case I had to upgrade my m.2 drive to a newer one as it was on offer, but didnt work and cant return

Seems fine so far, you may need to purchase an additional lead to connect to other devices such as TV's or set top boxes etc. So I additionally bought the:AmazonBasics USB Cable - 3.0 A Male to Micro B 1.8 m / 6 FeetI have a Samsung M.2 850 EVO that works like a charm. Stick it in; up pops drive management in windows 10, gave it a partition, quick format and away you go.File transfers across the USB3.1 were 300MB/Sec for a 21GB movie file.Nice.

Cheap, Reliable and good choice

only one thing i have noticed is when in use it tends to get very warm but easy to use and fast data speeds.

Per coloro a cui interessasse, nella confezione e' presente solo il cavo USB-C. Lo sto' usando con un pc lenovo che non ha porte USB-C, quindi lo uso insieme ad un adattatore UGREEN USB-C a USB 3.0. Avevo notaco che ci sono anche recensioni negative per cui ero in dubbio se prenderlo. Lo ho fatto e nel mio caso funziona meravigliosamente, come tanti altri prodotti startech che ho acquistato in passato.

Derzeit läuft eine "Crucial MX300 Solid-State-Drive 1TB M.2 2280SS" darinnen ohne Probleme an USB 2.0 und USB 3.0/3.1 .Mit USB2 will man aber keine 1TB voll machen.Das Gehäuse ist aus Aluminium aber, wird auch nicht versprochen, in keinsterweise Wasserdicht.Und vorsicht das Gehäuse ist nur für SATA SSD zu gebrauchen sonst wird gleich wieder gesagt das es nicht Funktioniert.
