Extremely sharp and with 4 cutting surfaces it produced a very smooth round-over with no tear out. It was so quiet and and with almost no resistance, I had to examine my first pass on walnut to verify it actually did the job. It was flawless.

I was in need of a large round-over router bit for the bowls I’m crafting, and after some consideration, I decided to go with a Freud. Given the brand's reputation for high-quality tools, I had a strong feeling it would be a great choice—and I couldn’t have been more right! This router bit performs beautifully, providing smooth and precise cuts that elevate my woodworking projects to the next level. It’s equally effective on both hard woods and soft woods, making it incredibly versatile and reliable for all types of materials. The craftsmanship and durability of this router bit are truly impressive, and it has quickly become an essential part of my toolkit.

This is a super sharp router bit and is hard to beat. Not the cheapest bit around but it will outlast my needs I assure you.

A typically high quality Freud product. It doesn’t pay to scrimp on router bits, especially when cutting hardwood.

It edged through cherry, birch, walnut, and mahogany hardwoods without hesitation. Very happy with its sharpness, smoothness, its fourth blade, and build quality. Pricer than others (just for one bit) but it feels like it’s going to outlast the cheaper ones. My only complaint is it burns/toasts the wood in a few spots. May be user error. I could be moving the router across the edges a little too slowly, however light sanding removes 98% of these burned spots.
