Great tool and price.
This Tool worked great. Some mentioned the vacuum was weak. I can say it is powerful and does the job well of clean up. Super easy to operate. One negative is the air fitting where you hook up the shop air from your compressor. It is the Industrial style and most auto shops use the Automotive style. Do to the design you can't just change the fitting you must make an adapter. Comes with 3 bags of walnut media. The adapters that come with it are generic and just OK. I suggest getting a custom adapter that is meant for your engine port size. I got one for VW $30.

This Machine Works Perfectly
I bought this machine to remove the carbon build up on the intake valves from a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost 2.3L engine. I watched a lot of videos trying to decide how I was going to clean the valves. I saw that there were less expensive options by buying pressure blasters, gravity feed blasters, cleaning the valves by manually scraping them with screw drivers or even using a bunch of tie straps on a drill. In the end, I chose this machine because it is all contained into one unit and the videos showed how well it cleans the valves. I am completely satisfied with this unit. It comes packaged well in heavy foam and it includes two bags of walnut shells and even has a nice pair of safety goggles. It took about 5 minutes to get it ready to use. I hooked it up to my air compressor (80 gallon 120 psi) and it took less than a minute of operation to clean a valve. The vacuum is strong and while there were some walnut pieces that were blown out into the engine compartment, but by and large the vacuum sucked them up and returned them to the unit to be used again. I realize that this unit costs more than what you might be able to build yourself, but I have to say that the convenience of just turning on a switch and going to work was well worth the money you might save by going cheaper. This machine cleaned all the carbon out of the ports and what was on the valves in no time. The vehicle runs great. Overall, 5 stars from me.

The ONLY way to clean intake valves of direct-injection engines!
As the owner of four vehicles with gasoline direct-injection engines all with over 100,000 miles, I decided that it was going to cost me a small fortune to have the intake valves all cleaned professionally. To top it off, most of the shops I talked to about just use a chemical cleaning process which I do not find very effective, and I have concerns about affecting catalytic converters and turbo chargers. I've only used in on one engine so far, but was very impressed with the results.

This machine surprised me!
I have a direct injection Honda CRV. Like all owners of direct injection engines, I had excessive carbon build up around the intake valves that was causing drivability issues. This was the only consumer grade machine on the market that I could find. I was initially concerned that it would be a typical low quality Chinese tool. Boy was I wrong! It is a really well engineered tool built with quality materials. This could be used on a daily basis and I expect it would hold up well. It comes with everything needed to perform the job including walnut media. You do need an air compressor capable of supplying a steady stream of air. The vacuum is very high quality and it performs the job expertly. It’s basically a sand blaster (using walnut shells) that sucks out the media and collects it for use again making for a dustless operation. Since the included walnut media is collected and reused It would probably do 10 cars before needing replacement. There are several good YouTube videos on how to do the cleaning. After I did the initial cleaning I soaked each chamber in Berryman’s for a few hours and then repeated the process and had terrific results. One other observation… A lot of the build up around the valves is from the oil vapor introduced into the intake manifold from the pcv valve. I installed a catch can between the pcv valve and the intake hoping to reduce this in the future.

Does not work on 220V
After a 3 week delay - this AUTOOL Walnut Blaster, that was supposed to arrive 18 September, finally arrived 4 October, I opened the package. I plugged it in and "It immediately tripped the circuit breaker."The user manual that this is for AC220V + or - 10% 50Hz which is what our electricity supply is in Ireland. it also says it is for AC110V which is what the plug was wired for. I used an adaptor rated at 13A.It is extremely disappointing that the vacuum component it does not work. This is a fire hazard, as one could smell something very wrong!!

Great Machine for Walnut Shell Blasting Intake Valves
Walnut Shell blasted a couple of vehicles and this machine worked really well. Would recommend it over chemical induction cleaning.
