Lighting and magnification
Enjoy the light being combined with magnifying making it easy to do what ever you’re doing. The only thing I don’t enjoy is the tightness needed to hold it in place and it comes loose easily

Great Lamp!
I use this with my mini mill and it's great to have a nice bright light with a magnifier. My wife saw me use it in the shop and she wanted one for her desk (we both have old eyes). Great buy!

Pretty flimsy and short.
I bought this for my work bench. Way too small for that, not enough reach. It might be adequate for a desktop. Sheet metal that the frame is made from is quite flimsy. I ended up returning this and just buying a new circular lamp and starter for my very old bench magnifier light.

Nice hobby light
The first Kirkas mag light I ordered had a defective dimmer, but I had no problem sending it back and the second one works great for the past few weeks. Only one slight issue with it, (both lamps), is that it's a little tough to adjust the arm position, I think especially the middle joint, IIRC, even if the knob is loose. I don't think it is a problem with the manufacturing and that it will probably loosen up in time, or if not then loosening a screw slightly would probably do the job.The lowest dim setting is just about right for doing work that doesn't require excessive light, and the bright setting is very bright. I'm happy with the lowest dim setting, but it doesn't dim anywhere near as low as an incandescent bulb.
