Great kit! Makes beard shaping easy and precise. The pencil is a nice touch!

Good once you figure it out but only if you want one of the pre-set lines it comes with. Even the adjustable part is lacking in adjustment options, it doesn't have many fine-tunes setting and just jumps largely before locking into the next position.Still taught me the value of a shaving pencil though. Get you one of those for sure!

I got the outlines but no pen. Easy to use would have loved the pencil or pen but it's over all good investment

If you want to shape ur beard by yourself, you have to get it

One of the biggest hurdles in sustaining a trimmed beard at home is making sure your beard is symmetrical. While the included wax pencil is trash and does not include a sharpener, the guide is awesome. I think some people may find this difficult to use because they aren't using the same reference point each trim. However, if they find the same reference point and use a wax pencil as a limit for their razor, cleaning up the outline of a beard is easy. I can't imagine not using one, now. This guide is a game changer of you're like me and refuse to pay 20-50 bucks for a "professional" beard trim. It may even be useful for the professional barber, as well.

I bought this for my partner & he ended up giving it to our son. He couldn't figure it out but our son had no problems using it.
