Excellent solo or co-op game
Great quality components: cards are tarot sized with brilliant artwork. The box is small and neat. The game itself is an excellent short story-driven game. It is heavily luck based, but is easy to set up, play and pack away.

Excellent
Superb game. Very difficult but not quite as impossible as The Cursed Earth from the same designer. Brilliant cards and exciting gaming.

A stunning game.
A good cooperative/solitaire/competitive game with gorgeous art and production value. This may be the prettiest card games I’ve ever played. It’s also pretty easy to teach and can be a good introduction to cooperative games. The addition of solitaire and competitive modes make this an excellent value for money.

Can you survive even one day in the jungle?
This is a great game, but incredibly difficult to win - so hard it gets compulsive.Quite simply you select your team, take some health, supplies and ammunition and try to make your way through the forest to The Lost City. Along the way a large deck of cards helps and (usually) hinders you, giving you resources and health (and rare ammunition) but more often taking them away. You have a team of three and if you get anywhere near your goal, you will have sacrificed two of them. However adept you are at manipulating the dealt cards, the game always seems to come out on top.Illustrations, everything is very good quality, each card is individual and based on what I call the 'Tintin' style colour drawings. The game is an excellent solo game as well.Worth every penny and one game you don't just roll over.

Great little game
I only played it solo so far, and it works very well. I put some thematic music on while I play and I get completely immersed in the expedition. The artwork is beautiful. It is hard to win (I think I won around one third of my games), but for the first few games, I was more about looking at the cards and trying things out than actually trying to win.It can also be played cooperatively with several other players, or competitevly with two teams (trying to reach El Dorado first). I haven't tried those out yet. I think the cooperative game would be a bit less engaging than solo play (but great if you have young children to play with!), but competitive game might be good to spend some time.Lastly, the box is really sturdy and about the size of a thick book.

Enjoyable and challenging.
This is a very challenging game when played solo, I haven’t played in the Co-Op mode or Head to Head. I have actually beat it 3 times after playing for a week but it took some doing. The cards are large and very robust with good Artwork. This is a good game for a family to take on holiday as it is very portable and lends itself to a family gathering.

Quality product but limited
Very good quality but a little boring as no real game play variety, we enjoyed it more as a group who were interested in the subject matter looking up th e tribes etc

High quality game, fun for all, solo or with friends.
Loads pf fun with this game. It is very unforgiving at times, but what a funny tale you will have to play. Ive played it solo, with 2 and with 4. Works well in all cases. 30 mins or less of fun, simple explanation, simple setup. Looks gorgeous.Try not to get eaten by the piranhas... or tiger.... or crocs ... or....
