Works great!!
Lots of buttons that don't do a thing for your car stereo but it's nice and small and easily stashed away in your glove box. Smaller than most remotes, which is perfect for a car stereo. My other car stereo third-party remote has about 40 buttons on it, and looks like it technically was meant for Home audio, and only two of the buttons even work with my stereo, the volume up and volume down and nothing else lol so this little remote is at least better than that one.

JVC Car Stereo Remote
This remote easily paired with the JVC KW-Z1000W and I have had no issues so far. All I had to do was insert a battery and the remote immediately began to operate the radio.
