Offline Motion Controller System
I received this quickly, It was well package to protect it in shipment. I am in the process of rebuilding my CNC, so it is not in operation yet but I have every confidence in the seller. There were a couple of small thing missing in the shipment. A short USB extension cable and a USB thumb-drive. I contacted the seller right a way and their response was immediate. They offered to take some money off the bill. Even though their offer was very nice, it was way over the cost. Their professionalism and kindness was impressive, so I decided I'd take care of it myself.

Bad wiring schematic (fixed)
The MPG is not wired according to the print card that came with the unit.Does anyone know what order the wires should go in? Mine is in Chinese alone.Edit: I got mine to work. Two issues one was a setting in the MPG section the other was a bad common wire from the enable button to the circuit board.Edit: the unit is what I expected. After working through the issues stated above. I really like the idea of not having to have my laptop in the shop/garage. Had this not had the issues it would deserve 5 stars. I am increasing my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Again if it was not for the common wire this unit is 5 stars.

Worked great till it didn't! Less than 30hrs use!
Was excited to receive this product after checking out several youtube reviews on the RMHV3.1 and DDCS3.1 cnc controllers. Took some time and effort to wire it up to my machine, but once I did everything seemed to work great. Updated to latest DDCS version and was on my way to cutting 3D impressions and engravings. On initial use I would give it a 5 star rating, all was as expected. However, I have less than 2months use, under 30hrs total cut time, and with no warning have lost all auto functions rendering the controller absolutely useless. To best of my knowledge I have encountered a corruption in the firmware. I have posted my issue on the ddcnc.com forums over a month ago with no responses and all efforts to find more information or support for the firmware have so far led to dead ends. I know things happen and these are trying times, but I would expect a $300 controller to last more than 30hrs without major incident. I have recently contacted the seller for help with this issue, and I will update this review appropriately when/if I receive a response. Until then, I'm stuck with a $300 paperweight that I can't return.

Just what I needed
I was looking for a controller for the cnc I was building that didn't a computer in the wood shop to operate and this fits the bill. It is easy to run and is very accurate. Love the MPG (the pendant) for precisely setting the location of the bit. This unit will save the work in progress in case of power loss and you can pause it any time you need and resume later, a great feature. The only problem I had setting it up was finding the right post processor. The manual mentioned it used Fanuc and this was compatible withe the gcode so I thought I needed to select a Fanuc post processor but what I really needed was to choose one of the gcode processors listed in my cam software. The reseller was quick to try and fix all my problems.

The MPG won't work and is wired correctly
I don't understand why but no matter how many times I try to wire the mpg controller to the rmhs, it will not work. All colors are correct per the diagram given in the manual and I have checked and rewired multiple times with no success. Any way I could trade my mpg in for a new one?

You do not need a PC to mill your projects
So far I am happy with this off-line controller for my DIY CNC. I originally had a NVUM V2 Mach3 USB motion controller that turned out to be junk. The USB connection dropped/disconnected a majority of the time while running my project. This off-line controller was able to process my project to competion with satisfactory results.I wish I would have bought this in the beginning and not wasted $'s on the NVUM V2.
