Neat & not too large & very bright light

Was similar to the one it replaced only better quality, easy to install, cool white, perfect for a small to medium sized garden.

I had a problem with this light where, after initially installing it, the light was constantly on but very very dim (so dim you can hardly tell in daylight). I noticed a few other people in the review mentioned this issue as well and returned for refund.I was also about to return the 'faulty' light, but I happened to have a second one to test with. Turns out when I installed that second light, it also had the same issue.As a result, I did some checking and it turns out the Earth and Neutral wiring had been switched on the power cable (from the mains) - ie I'd connected earth from my mains to neutral on the light etc.After I fixed this, the light worked perfectly. Light initially comes on for 15 seconds, switches off and then continues to behave as you would expect.So... if you have issues with the light coming on dimly all the time after installation, check the wiring first.Regarding the product itself, the unit is very compact in size compared to the old halogen light it replaced, very much like going from a CRT to LED monitor! Light output is as expected - roughly 300W halogen equivalent.Time will tell how long the light lasts, first time with LED security lights so no idea how long to expect.One feature that works well - to 'test' it in daylight you can switch the 'LUM' setting to daylight (all the way around clockwise). This allows you to test out / set the sensitivity and timing during the daytime for convenience.Worth taking a photo of the settings dial before you install the unit just for reference (initially I was blindly fiddling with the dials and eventually took a photo close up and that made things a lot easier adjusting the light). That said I think there's probably an image of it in the product details section to be honest...PS - whilst hooked up to a plug I tested the power output and standby / resting power of this unit is 7W

I purchased this light to illuminate the rear patio / garden area both for security and practical purposes during the long winter nights. I went for the 50W version for the extra brightness and I wasn't disappointed as this is a very bright light. It's easily bright enough to do work in the garden / back yard after dark which is very handy. I have set it to a pretty sensitive setting as I want it to come on immediately when someone comes into range and I'm pleased with it's responsiveness. It comes with it's own extended power cord which I didn't really need as I've connected it to an adjacent junction box. Longevity is still tbd (only had it for 3 weeks) but so far I'm very pleased with it and feel it was very good value. Overall I'm very pleased with it and may consider for the front of the house in the future where I currently have a more decorative but less powerful light.

Works well

I bought two of these in 2022 but didn't install them until August 2024. One of them has failed after only two months! We have others that have been working for years. If you want a security light but a recognised brand and give this thing a wide birth.

Great light, good value. I bought this to replace an old security light that when lite used 500watts! This light is stylish, slim & very easy to install. My garden is 25mtrs long and 10mtrs wide, for a unit that only uses 30watts it lights up the whole garden, to say I'm pleased is an understatement. With the rising price of energy this is the way forward. I know unlike security lights in the past where you could replace the bulb but with this you have to replace the whole unit, I'm sure for the price & the longevity of the unit it's a small price to pay. Would highly recommend, Thank you 😊

Der 50W LED Strahler Außen mit Bewegungsmelder ist mit 5000LM wirklich superhell und noch dazu Flach (ich wurde positiv überrascht). Die Lichtfarbe (Temperatur) beträgt 5500K und ist dementsprechend ziemlich kalt, für Garten/Hof/Garagen-Beleuchtung jedoch genau richtig. Der Bewegungsmelder ist äußerst sensibel (es reicht wenn sich die Äste der Bäume im Wind wenig bewegen, gleich wird's hell). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Ho ricevuto il prodotto nei tempi stabiliti e perfettamente integro. L'ho installato sul portone del garage e quando entra in funzione illumina a giorno. Mi sembra un faretto robusto, in particolare il vetro protettivo. Unica pecca sono i trimmer di regolazione, non si capisce bene quale sia il max e il min di luce/time/sens. In ogni modo andando a tentativi si riesce a settare tutto correttamente. In funzione da due giorni, per adesso tutto ok. Soddisfatto

Hallo, ich bin wirklich positiv von diesem strahler überrascht, ich war am Anfang sehr skeptisch da der Preis wirklich günstig ist für einen 50watt strahler. Aber meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Ich habe den strahler bei mir in der Garagen Einfahrt montiert und die Einfahrt wird wirklich gut ausgeleuchtet, die leuchtdauer sowie die Empfindlichkeit lässt sich sehr einfach einstellen.
