I like the book

Granddaughter approves of the dress on the cover but felt the rest was too grungy for her little 7 year old self. I tend to concur. The photography is a bit 'out there' with huge boots on little girls and some clothes they really wouldn't be seen dead in...unless they are hippyish in which case they'd be perfect. My granddaughter is the average side of wanting to be accepted by her peers so has said no to the uber trendy trousers....

Beautifully written book with more than enough patterns to keep you going for some time. Not all are easily done but with patience & the right materials, then it’s a great addition to my collection.

Beautiful designs but the patterns are complicated to trace as they are all one colour. Starts at age 4 but can be adapted to smaller sizes. Can't wait to start sewing with this book
