A great solution for getting midi & power in, and audio out of your iOS device
This is one of the few solutions available for connecting midi cables and power to your iPad at the same time. It also has 2 high quality audio jacks to route audio out to your speakers or mixer. It's pretty expensive though, probably because there's virtually no other devices that can do the same!If your midi device has a USB connector, you might be better off using the official Apple "Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adaptor" which enables you to plug in a USB device and power cable at the same time. Obviously though you wont get the audio outputs with this option and you'll have to use the headphone socket (unless Apple has got rid of that as well...)Despite not being mentioned from the compatibility list, this works fine with my iPad Air 3. Unfortunately it seems like this will not work with newer iPads going forward, as Apple seems to be transitioning away from lightning connectors towards USB C.

A Grand Piano in your pocket - who'd a thunk it
Perfect, well designed, one trick pony.Nothing out there better IMHO if you want to use your iOS device as a sound module.The fact that it can charge the device while in use is a blessing as some iOS audio apps (I'm looking at you Ravenscroft) can hit your device battery hard (even when idle).Great for revitalising old Clavinovas!

Good and nice, if works. Used only handful of times and broke.
Not recommended to buy. Very fragile. Bought it for the case , I would have no easy access to my proper keyboard. Kept it in the drawer for most of the time. Recently wanted to use it a bit more, unfortunately stopped working. Basically item , which has not been sufficiently well created. Korg has got a lot of to do, Real shame. No guarantee as I can see.

Very useful
Works well, only criticism is that the cable is a bit on the short side, which, in my situation, means the device sits under my iPad stand. Not the end of the world. Hence still 5 stars.

Definitely needed this to connect my midi keyboard to my iPhone to be able to play the keyboard app. Plugkey compatible with iPhones listed.
