Nice idea but, a little thinner in future of the metal overhang.
I purchased this as a solution, to not presently having a wardrobe in my new property. Unfortunately either the paint around the cupboard doorframe has either been recoated too many times over the years or the thickness of the metal is a tad too think for the door to close shut properly. Which means that at present it has to be left open.

our doors must be a little deeper as these do not fit flat across top of door, but we are managing and they do the job well.

I you've ever used the plastic version of these over-door hanger/hooks, you'll know that after a while they start to flex a bit too much when you hang more than a couple of items of clothing on them.That simply will not happen with these!They are solid steel and should last years!Perfect for hanging over a door, or in our case hanging from side of the stair case.Highly recommended indeed!

Poor design
Well made and works well - great unless you want to shut the door! You will need to do some woodworking on your door frame if you want to close your door as the hook frame stick out a good quarter of an inch at the rear - pity as its a good product basically

A good product that looks smart too
It’s sturdy and the thickness is adjustable because you can unscrew and take of the metal pad if you have a thicker door .

Did not fit the door it should have done(according to the measurements) but seemed sturdy.
