AUDIOLABDC Block 6 - Direct Current Blocker (Aluminum Black)

l have been using the more realistically priced audio protection devices and accessories such as Surge protectors, DC blockers and anti vibration devices for many years now and presently in our 55 year old semi detached home our electricty supply (although 100% safe) does leave much to be desired sound wise. I originally purchased the Audiolab Single variant almost three years ago and it did noticeably reduce the transformer hum that l used to get in one of my old Cyrus amplifiers. Having recently upgraded to a new amp and wanting to supply it with cleaner electricity l have purchased this Audiolab DC block 6, which slots in neatly in the bottom of my rack and through its six IEC outlets with supplied C13 to C14 power cords feeds my amp, cd player, dvd, network streamer, and Freesat box, all from one single socket! I have registered mine for the 3 year warranty but with its all metal box and sturdy build I expect it to give good service for many years.

Did not solve the 50 Hz / 60 Hz hum noise I was dealing with in my recording studio. Not even a bit. I had to buy a dedicated ISP Hum Extractor for that.It is just overpriced fancy mains splitter.
