Great tone, great price.
Superb single channel, all valve head, with 3 attenuated power settings, which is incredibly useful for quieter practice times. Can be dropped down to 0.1w, whilst still maintaining excellent tone, allowing your chords and individual notes to ring out with great clarity .The built in reverb is fairly decent, but I prefer to use my HOF 2 pedal and although there's no effects loop, it's a great pedalboard platform running into the front of the amp.The Phat switch gives you even more tonal possibilities and it basically transforms the head into a 1.5 channel amp.I've owned this T5 head for just over a month now and for me it's a definite keeper. Build quality belies it's price tag. It's a good weight and photos really don't do it justice.I tend to use this with my Fender standard strat, through a 12 inch speaker cab, equipped with an 8ohm celestion Vintage 30 speaker and I absolutely love this combination, it really sounds superb.I was so impressed by the T5, i ordered the bugera V5 combo last week, with an 8 inch turbosound speaker, but unfortunately ended up returning the V5 back to Amazon. I was so disappointed in the sound quality, compared to the T5. Perhaps if I'd ordered the V5 first, I may have ended up keeping it, but glad I had the opportunity to compare the two. It was a little unfair comparing the T5 and a 12 inch speaker cab and the V5 with its 8 inch speaker, but I honestly don't think it was all down to the speaker difference.I know sound is very subjective, but to my ears the V5 sounded muddy and lacked clarity. There's only a tone knob on the V5 and found i had to crank it fully clockwise to try and improve the sound. The T5 has separate bass and treble controls, which work very well and I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality from the headphone output.Pair this head with the right cab and you're on to a winner and for £122, what's not to like, it was a real bargain.

Fantastic Sound , Fantastic Build , Fantastic Price
What can I say . I paid£125 for this little stunner .Is back to the bones as I wanted , no frills . If you want frills like equalizers pay double . Its well built has 2 decent valves already fitted . It sounds gorgeous with either my LP or Strat or a couple of semi acoustics . Keep it simple play well and you are rewarded with what to me is the archetypal "Valve" sound I have been used to for over 40 years from amps costing 5 times this and not too much better { louder yes } than this Behringer make .It goes louder than it should but loses a bit of its Valve glory the louder its turned by way of the 3 way selector on the rear 0.5 , 1w and last position 5w . PLEASE don't let those figures put you off . It has drive at sensible volumes then again I'm old and don't like things too loud nowadays .Too many people sit on the numbers game . Ive heard 30watters sound more dynamic and loud than amps rated at 200watts rated .Its not going to fill the Albert hall but it might just manage to fill the scout hall .If your looking for a fantastic sounding amp with more than a hint of Valve and don't need it to fill too big a room then this is a very very good amp and fabulous for the money although elsewhere its about 40% more than Amazon as I write this .Ive played through amps for a long time both trans and valve and this pound for pound is simply a fantastic sounding clean amp . If you wanna cheat look elsewhere for summit with more toys on the front and be prepared to pay a lot more .I absolutely love to the point of considering buying another 2 and modding them to play my turntable through .

Great little valve amp for home use.
I’ve tried a few of the current crop of small valve amps and this is certainly up there with the best, especially given its price. Lovely warm, full sound. Very handy to have tone controls and reverb built in, looks smart and well made. Not a huge amount of clean volume available but plenty for home use. Nice “just breaking up/crunch” sounds easy to obtain and the more gain and volume you dial in, the louder and crunchier it gets. Engaging the fat switch removes the tone controls from the signal path for considerably more volume and great cranked valve growl. Lovely stuff! Would recommend.

Very little gain on tap
Been looking to try the Bugera T5 Infinium for a few years not. Took the plunge, but it wasn't great.First up, ordered new, but received used/return from Amazon Warehouse, big sticker on box that said so.Internal packaging damaged, amp covered in fingerprints and marks here and there - not great.I tried it anyway to see what it was like. The tone is good and a little vibtage sounding, but the gain is really poor, barely any breakup at all. Even adding an overdrive it was only middling - I wasn't expecting anything massive, just good break up.I thought that on the lowest wattage setting I'd be able to crank the volume with gain and get a nice saturated distortion, but even with the overdrive pedal it just didn't get there at all. It really needs a distortion pedal in front to drive it way way more.Gets really hot too.Disappointing.

Steer clear
Two months in and the volume control packed in, amp sounds dreadful anyway, extremely muffled sound. Will try to return but bought in May so not sure of the guarantee
