can you download the recordings to a pc?

Dear Customer, Thank you for your enquiry.The Talking Tiles do not have the functionality to download sound to a PC but you can download from a PC onto the Tile via a Phone Lead. I can suggest another of our products, the Deluxe Talking Photo Album which enables you to download from the device to a PC. Do these tiles beep when you press them to record?

How easy are they to press as our son has an extemely light touch

They do need to be pressed firmly (or with assistance against cheek or with hand).The sound quality is excellent and they are very robust.
