Just plug and go. Instructions booklet is small so may need a magnifying screen to read. There is an app you need to download. Would buy again.

My phone was out of storage so I purchased this and it works great! The only thing I struggled was backup shut down when the screen turned off so I had to keep it on for a long time.

Pro’s easy to use, download the app “Y Disk” (Make sure the app you download has a blue “Y” with a lighting bolt at the bottom of the “Y”.IMPORTANT - Make sure your iPhone is fully charged before downloading your media to the Flash Drive.It took approximately an hour to download over 13,500 photos and 1,500 videos (yes that many pics, memes and other stupid crap I screenshot) to the Flash drive.Great back up to have! The flash drive comes with an android adapter plus a usb connector built into the flash drive.Cons - The handbook is so small I could barely read it! Thank God the app has easy to read instructions and guidance. Most definitely download the App and go through the website instead of using the enclosed booklet.Overall - Easy to use, and small enough to carry everywhere.Only recommendation is the option for the creators of this flash drive is to attach a key ring so I can attach to a larger object and not lose it.Recommend to all who are looking at a Terrabyte Flas Drive!

The device seemed sturdy enough and does connect to a laptop and iPhone. The transfer rate was good and I was pleased with itUntil:I was traveling and needed to move files from my laptop to my surface. It included photos, pdf files, and important notes.I loaded everything off my laptop and was down-loading to the Surface. The process suddenly stopped and thereafter, the USB Memory stick would not read again. I tried everything, but the unit was not even seen by any deviceI contacted customer support via email and have not heard anything back.I believe a three-month life span is not acceptable

Bought this drive to store ICloud Photos on. Works like a charm, so easy to use.

I Love this product, and think it’s way better than paying 9.99 for the cloud, but I had over 600 videos in separate albums already saved and organized. Sadly it doesn’t look like there is a way for me to just bring over one album without going through the years of videos and downloading them one at a time. I am using this on my iPhone so I’m hoping it might be different on my computer. But I definitely don’t regret buying this and might get another one when this one is full.

I hate the idea of losing my precious photos so I stored them all on these and it’s great ! I can go back and look at them and I know I always have them

When I opened , I found that it’s really light weight and very easy to use. The speed was acceptable, of course if it can be faster of the writing speed it will be perfect .

Doesn’t work. The app it uses had a rating of 2 stars, guess that should have been an indication on the program and device. When plugged in it kept disconnecting even when it was still. Managed to get 2 videos onto the device but they showed up as grey boxes. How in the world would you be able to figure out what files they were? Got totally frustrated and then read the 1 star reviews (should have done that before ordering it). It performed exactly as all the other reviews of the 1 star. Actually, it should be 0 stars. Don’t purchase and save yourself the aggravation. On the plus side glad we tried this out prior to going on our trip as we would have been so upset. Our travel videos are too important to lose due to a faulty device. I will trust (and pay for) iCloud to manage our files until we get home and transfer to our computers.

I bought this in May 2023 but didn't use it for a couple of months as still had things on my old USB. I've only been using it since around July / August time and it's been very unreliable. Sometimes working when put into computer, sometimes not. Recently, it has stopped working all together so I sent it away to see if it could be mended, only to be told that the chip inside is "dodgy". So upset and disappointed not only at the fact this was such an expensive USB drive, but I've now lost loads of irreplaceable work.
